I'm anticipating this game A LOT! Heavy metal and video games are two of my favourite things. Put them together and this ought to kick ass, especially how awesome Double Fine's previous game was.

I've only listened to it a couple of times but I think its good.
I've only listened to Focus a couple of times too so I can't really compare... as I can't actually remember either (cept for Veil of Maya).
Also... Ponos?

Eh, I can understand his thoughts. I gave Nothing another chance recently but my opinion is indifferent. Still not a big fan of their music in general but I is still a fantastic song.
I was half excited that Tim Schaeffer was making a new game, half worried that Tim Schaeffer is making something about metal with Jack Black. It'll probably be amazing, since it's Tim.

This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.
Just wondering, besides Overkill and Ace of Spades, what are your favourite Motörhead albums? I've recently wondered about getting more of their albums since I only have three of them (four if you count the Ace of Spades compilation album I got one Christmas) and some thoughts on their other albums would help me a lot.
Two new albums:
Sons of Otis - Spacejumbofudge
Portal - Swarth
I've only listened to the final track of Spacejumbofudge so far (Anti-Nauseant) and I liked the sound of it, nice and atmos-y.
I listened to the first two tracks of Swarth last night too and it really annoyed the hell out of me and I had to turn it off. I'm carrying on with the album now, and I'm liking it. I'm putting it down to me wearing headphones last night and it just sounding like lots of annoying wasps were bouncing around in my head. You really need this sort of cacophony to just be blasting around the room.
Portal - The Swayy (Swarth)

Really digging at the moment;
A New Silent Corporation
And So I Watched You From Afar
Collapse Under The Empire
Also, some Sludge/Post-Metal, Minsk have a new album out that is great.

Wow! Bill, that is one hell of a recommendation! Since I have Ace of Spades and Overkill, looks like the next albums to get are self-titled and Bomber which were what I had in mind but now I'll have to get them sometime soon. I don't get many live albums but No sleep til Hammersmith is one I'll consider.
Another album I was considering was Orgasmatron but after your recommendations, I won't go after it just yet. Maybe around the time I start looking into post-Fast Eddie albums. But yes, all the albums up until 1916 should keep me busy for the time being and if I need more of their stuff, I'll be sure to ask you or anyone else about their later albums.
Also, not to worry, I won't be getting anymore compilation albums. Infact, I wasn't even wanting a compilation album in the first place. While I asked Ace of Spades for Christmas, my uncle picked up the wrong album and thus I didn't get the studio album.
And while we're talking about Motörhead, you mentioned Hawkwind several times and they're a band I really need to look into, so which are their best works? They have many albums so being told a highlight or two would get me started.

These all sound really awesome, mind if I check them out too? I love how you can tell some bands are awesome automatically just because of amazing band names.

You don't need to ask for permission to listen to a band.

I know this sounds stupid, but I thought that list was only for the user who asked it. Sorry.

I finally got around to checking out Opeth, Vader, and Nuclear Assault! I like all of them!
Opeth: Great modern Prog band, my friends have been practically begging me to check them out for a long time, so I did, and I love them.
Vader: Saw them recomended on my Pandora station, so I checked them out as well. Great death thrash.
Nuclear Assault: A great thrash/punk crossover band. I question their sanity, however. Sometimes they're ridicously funny (Hang the Pope, Butt Fuck, and Long Haired Assholes) and at other times they are extremely serious (Radiation Poisining, Nuclear Assault, and Brainwashed).
I recommend all 3 of these bands to anyone who has not checked them out yet.
