Bill, they probably used four strings because it was cheaper than getting extended ranges, or at the time extended ranges were for jazz guys exclusively.
Here I am, bored with everything.

I think its just preference.
Cause using your theory, with everyone today being endorsed by companies, surely everyone would be using 5/6 basses or 7/8 string guitars?
I just think a lot of musicians don't really give a shit about the extra string.

Well mine is a leccy guitar.

Sex. What a wonderful guitar...
Liberals defend the exploitation of man by man, Conservatives defend the reverse.

Was I the only one who noticed the coffee mug first?
You guys are fighting over absolutely nothing...
You get a 6 string bass if you feel like you need to play lower tones...
and you don't... if you just don't need to.
I mean... I'm beginning to play bass and I won't need to play with 6 strings bass before a fucking while... and if I never get to play something that requires a 5 or 6 strings bass... than I won't bother buying a new bass.
That's it.
And... could anybody find me The Wind, The Trees And The Shadows Of The Past by The Morningside.
Their music is fucking sweet and I can't get my hand on any of their stuff :(
Help me guys :'(

I miss that mug. It's the mug equivalent of ':P'. I miss ':)', ':(' and '>:(' too :'(.

We do not need anymore horsefags.
I'm going to go download some Porn.

That song is fucking amazing, I don't care that i've never heard of them before or any of their songs - I'm buying that album.
Amazing.
I already downloaded it. My bad.
Do you listen to much depressive black metal?

Nah, not much.
I pretty much listen to Shining and Silencer and that's about it.
Recommendations?
Drudkh are pretty similar to Svarti Loghin, Nyktalgia are good too.
That Svarti Loghin album is so good I reviewed it already.
And speaking of reviews, most people love Cynic's Traced in Air, but a lot of people think it's boring, rushed and not very good. I havn't listened to it yet, but what do you guys think?

Okay. This is fucking good. It's like concentrated clear pure Outre. Portal fans must listen to this.
Thanks for the head.
I mean, thanks for the heads up.
Australians are pretty shit at making metal.
So what bands do you guys really want to see live? For me it's Slough Feg and Clutch.
And lol, have you ever seen the Aquabats! Dent?

This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.
Definitely going to buy Brutal Legend, it seems like it could be the most awesome Xbox 360 game ever. I don't see any thing wrong with a game filled with metal. Specially with Black, Dio and Osbourne doing voices.

Take Jack Black and Dragonforce out of it and I'd pre-order and love it. Other than that I'm still debating if I should get it or Uncharted 2 and wait for it. Lemmy and Ozzy and Rob from Priest have cameos and it's from the guy that created psychonauts. Multiplayer and the such as well.

That would be so fun playing while getting blood rained on.
But shit Lombardo, that was some shit drumming.

Should have heard him here. Oh. My. Gawd. My pants nearly flew off that's how hard he was kicking the double bass.

Mere hours my friend. Mere hours and I shall be witnessing Lombardo's fearsome double kickery \m/
So I'm listening to this Drudkh song, Summoning the Rain, and it starts fucking raining.
WTF.
