Nah, i'd honestly say Grindcore bands are the most brutal metal bands.

But you haven't listened to any Napalm Death oe Cattle Decapitation? Both those grind bands are pretty famous compared to the rest of the genre.

Most thrash metal(Most, not all) is quite "simple, repetitive and un-original" and their are only ten or so famous thrash metal bands, the countless rest are basically non-existent in comparison.

All Megadeth albums are fucking great in a very unique way. Rust In Peace is nothing like Peace Sells, but both are fucking great... I mean... even from tracks to tracks on the same album you can feel how unique all the tracks are.
