Recently acquired:

New Ensiferum/Dying Fetus/Megadeth/C.O.B./3 inches of Blood

Not one of them is disappointing :D

Well COB is kinda meh...

This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

I hate people who get leaks.

I really hate leaks myself. Sure, there'll be many people who are really excited to hear the whole album but I'd much rather get them the honest way by receiving them on the day of release. If I downloaded any leaks, I might not end up buying the album at all so it's best for me to stay away from them.

And Cannibal Corpse are shit :).

Not all the time. They do have some great tracks but listening to any of their studio albums in their entirety just kills it for me with the amount of fillers in each one.

Both at the same time. :P

I'll just go with what I've listened to the most over the last few months:

1. Running Wild
2. Helloween
3. Dream Theater
4. Blind Guardian
5. Opeth

Just listened to Kamelot on Pandora, and I actually liked it a lot, despite not being a huge power metal fan. I'll have to investigate them further

Basically they've they've made is pure win.

They are, in my opinion, ONE of the best power metal bands.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Are you trying to say basically "WHAT" they've made...

They were damn good. Any particular albums that stand out that I should check out first?

Old Kamelot or new Kamelot?

Old Kamelot gives off sort of a traditional fantasy feel, newer kamelot is much more complex, meaningful and progressive power metal.

What song or songs did you hear?

Well, either if it was new or old I recommend this one album: Moonlight - No doubt about it.

I don't remember, I already closed the pandora window. The song kinda started with a growl though, so I guess if you know their songs well enough you could figure it out...

I just looked on MA and Moonlight wasn't listed as one of their albums.

Like a death Metal growl?

Hmmm...no idea, I know Khan can do death growls has i've seen him do so live before - But I have yet to hear a studio version of a song with death growls on it.

What the fuck is wrong with me? The album is called Karma.

Why'd I say Moonlight?

Maybe cause i'm listening to that song right now? Must be.

Yeah, like after the intro it was like "oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh" but deep and growly. I'm pretty sure it did that.

It's awesome cause on 9/11 of this year, it will be the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Island of Manhattan. Sad thing is that a lot of ass holes can't even remember this...

Their latest album has quite the industrial influences.

But their older stuff... is basically Ambient Metal. Yes, you heard me right.

Proof 1, proof 2.

But since that's not a real genre and it's a term I coined on the spot, I SUPPOSE you could call them Progressive metal.

Why does everyone on this site love Muse?

I think they are quite boring.

Compared to other Megadeth albums where does Endgame fit in? List them best to worst in your opinion pl0x.

They're not boring, though i tried twice to get into them/listen to them, but they just...either lacked something, or they had something that i didn't click with. They've got some good songs, but not really something i see myself listening to anytime soon

Ok:

Rust In Peace
Killing Is My Business and Business Is Good
Peace Sells
Countdown To Extinction
Endgame
So Far So Good So What?
United Abominations
The World Needs A Hero
Cryptic Writings
Youthanasia
The System Has Failed
Risk

It's pretty decent stuff.

And that link, is epic.

Pretty much my opinion more or less.

Rust In Peace

Youthanasia

Own these all already, getting Endgame cause you've convinced me. Any other Megadeth albums I should get?

And that link, is epic.

Yup.

Also, In Flames claimed in a interview the other day that the albums "Soundtrack To Your Escape"(Like) "Reroute To Remain"(Hate) "Come Clarify"(Like) and "A Sense Of Purpose"(Hate, except for The Chosen Pessimist) we...re all just the band "Experimenting with their style" and apparently they have a new album coming out Summer Next year called "Tastes Of Chaos" and they are saying it's supposed to be a masterpiece.

What do you guys think? I think it's a load of BS and will be horrible like their last album.

But they are also apparently playing a few songs of that album at each show of their world tour, so if you go and see them any time soon tell me what you think of the new songs.

OUTCASTTTTTTTTTTTT - Kreator - Outcast, is a HIGHLY underrated album.

At least give it a download first to see if it's what I've hyped it up to be :P I mean, for $22 i couldn't care less if it was as good as i think it is or just meh but listenable. As for other albums, you have all the good ones.
