Well then if you want in you are going to have to post some of your favorite metal bands...
My favorite bands are..
Chimaira
Soilwork
Unearth
Sepultura
Cyphilis(a local band)
and the ones in my profile.

Unfortunately, I enjoy none of those bands. Oh well, metal is a very broad genre, and having a club devoted to the entirety of metal does tend to have its drawbacks. On the other hand, you can get exposed to some more extreme and avante-garde forms of metal, such as Immortal and Borknagar, respectively.

Attilas vocals are something I think you really love or really hate. Personally I think he's great and really sounds like a tormented beast with his slurring and sometimes off key singing. I love him in De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas and some Aborym is cool too. Attila is back in Mayhem now and should be touring Australia at some point soon so I would like to see that so they can play De Mysteriis songs with him on vocals. Maniac didnt do much for me in the vocal department.

My low pitched vocals tend to sound like Attila's, and they make scattered appearances on my new full length, In The Winter Lies The Warmth, so you might want to check it out. I like his grunts, they sound like he's a troll or something like that. Imagine Dead and Attila performing on the same album, with Dani Filth (old) guest starring, and that's what the vocals are like. Also, on 'The Voice of Biran', there're some synthesized vocals, too.

Also get it if you like loads of keyboards.

And about Maniac, I loved his philosophising, and his live singing wasn't my cup of tea, in the studio he was pretty chool (especially on Chimera and Wolf's Lair Abyss).

Can I join? I'm not really into Death metal/Black metal, but most people who know me know I'm a metalhead.

Favorite bands/songs:

Metallica- Master of Puppets, Blackened
Slayer- Blood Red, Raining Blood, Dead Skin Mask
Lamb of God- Laid to Rest (One of the only I heard by them)
GNR (are they really metal?)- Mr. Brownstone
System of a Down- Prison Song, Sugar
Pantera- Cowboys from Hell

Certainly, b0b0. I like GNR, Pantera, Slayer, and early Metallica, but most of my tastes lie in Kvlt black metal and experimental black metal. Would you like a copy of my next full length?
