Rap has a lot of filth in it, but that is not to say there isn't good music in there.

I full heartily support your list with the exception of Messugah, but whatever.

Meshuggah are wickedawesome. Just watch the video for New Millenium Cyanide Christ, its tits :D.

Does Tool even count as metal? Either way they kick ass.

The position in here is basically that Tool are amazing, but not technically a yes for Metal.

I think.

Im guessing you guys have the Preliminary Screening to keep out the fans of screamo and such?
Granted i have no problem with bands like that.
Im talking about bands like Attack Attack or Suicide Silence.

Even though I think Symphony X's album Paradise Lost is incredibly forgettable with the exception of Paradise Lost itself and the drums in the album....GOD DAMN!

FLY WITH ME THROUGH SCORCHING SKIES, YOU AND I WILL SET THE WORLD ON FIIIIIIRE!

Jesus, I forgot how much I love that chorus.

I said only the famous rap artists.

I've heard good rap before, not stuff I would buy an album of but stuff I wouldn't mind listening to every now and then.

Yes, there is a screamo club and there is also a Metalcore + NU metal club, so we don't discuss those genres here.

I really wish you guys weren't idiots and made a club for everything core + NU metal.

I mean there's metalcore, deathcore, Grindcore(Although I consider grindcore metal), Malecore, Mathcore, Emocore and Dancecore.

Im talking about bands like Attack Attack or Suicide Silence.

Names for a lot of screamo bands would be great for metal bands, to bad they made the names disgraced.

I mean Attack Attack would've been a cool name for a thrash metal band, Suicide Silence would've been an amazing name for a depressive black metal band, etc.

What do you guys think of these 8 bands? I've never even heard of any of them before.

But these ten bands are all playing here in a couple days for 10 bucks and I was wondering if it MIGHT be worth going to.

I went to this concert just last week
personally i love Poison The Well which is why i went.
its not really a metal concert but PTW, Terror, and War Of Ages were all pretty awesome
id say its worth the 10 bucks to go, i made it worth it by stage diving

If there's one type of people that make me want to go on a slaughter spree, it's fake emo/hardcore kids who can't listen to real music and they think they're awesome for dressing and looking like chicks and worshipping shitty core music.

You have a shirt from 5th grade that still fits you? Either you're still really young or you were a BIG kid.

You guys should play at the 12th Annual New England Metal + Hardcore Fest next year in Worcester Mass, some users like Fro and Knightsofthecircle and I are planning on making a newgrounds meet there anyway, and it would be cool to have a band with a nger in it. haha

Urgh. In the middle of moving house. Left iPod at other house, havn't been downloading anything.... My musicings are very limited at the moment. I will say that From Beale Street to Oblivion is probably my favourite album right now, but Age of Silence are very very cool. I think Clutch's new album is out, have you heard it yet Idio? I listened to that 50,000 Watts or something song, but I can't remember it. Anywho. Mushroomhead sucks balls. I want some god damn weed. I got very high on Saturday, watched an Iron Maiden DVD (Bruce is kinda crappy live), explored a huge abandoned warehouse and watched my friend shit out of a ceiling.

Also, I joined my school's senior band, and it's a pretty awesome experience playing written music with like 40 brass/woodwind instruments.

Better that than nu-metal/metalcore.

Sodom - Agent Orange (Agent Orange)

I first listened to a few tracks from Agent Orange ages ago but never picked up the album. If this or any other Sodom album are highly recommended to pick up soon, just let me know. I've got an urge to get a few Thrash Metal albums right now.
