I have to disagree. The only song that sounded different (and worth listening to IMO) was Reasons to Live. The rest of the album had nothing new to offer from the band, which is what really disappointed me about Ultra Beatdown.

I dunno, I think the song structure was more varied in some songs. And I believe there were a lot more clean breaks. (Although I could be wrong)

That being said, it was a fairly unoriginal album.

I wouldn't count on DragonForce drastically changing their style, however. Inhuman Rampage, as bad as it was in comparison to their previous works, made them popular. They're gonna milk it as long as they can.

There is so many different genre and sub-genres, a life time is not enough to learn even half of what the metal scene as given us. During one song you can ear 6 or 7 diffent riffs or even 20 different riffs when talking about progressive or ambiant metal. Mastering metal drumming is probably harder than learning any other type of drumming. Along with Funk music, Metal is the best music for great bass lines. The greatest bass players are found on the metal scene (death metal and progressive metal). Therefore I just fucking win. Metal is art, Lady Gaga is just the same shit over and over again... put it in the microwave, press on reheat and here we go."

If you have a family doctor that you've had your entire or most of your life, SEE HIM/HER ASAP.

Pay for a one or even two hour session with her and tell her EVERYTHING about your life. (Social life, newgrounds, Metal, the FBI, etc, etc, etc.)

This will make you feel shitloads better yourself, it will result in you getting whatever help is necessary, if you ever do anything stupid like kill someone or something(Which I REALLY hope you don't) she can back up that your insane(You said you were losing touch with reality, no?) also this makes it so if a cop arrests you for "Assaulting an officer" when no one sees you and there are no cameras you have NO way out and telling the doctor everything makes someone know that these people are after you.

And if you are in court against a cop with no evidence, witnesses, etc. It becomes your opinion VS a cops opinion and the cop will ALWAYS win.

Ummmmmmmm....................no mention of guitar work? No mention of HOW difficult is to sing Falsetto? No mention of how complex and meaningful some songs are? No mention that metal can make you feel just about any emotion possible?

I don't know why, but if people post a LONG argument online sometimes people don't take the time to read it, or at least reply to it.

C.) Listen to said bands and actually LIKE them. There is always a 1 in 10 chance when they check out example bands they either can't find ANY problems to criticize and in a even rarer case, they might come out loving the said band or bands.

Just a few suggestions to improve your future arguments.

I actually did mention during the debate on Lady Gaga's artist page that Ulver and Agalloch were good examples of awesome metal bands and that they couldn't fit in the noobish definitions of metal given by those retards. You know... "it's all the same" kind of argument.

that's why I mentionned her Sonata Arctica as an example. It is most of the time, one of those bands that even non-metalheads will really like.

Make your own opinion on me if you will, but you should understand that I do not need you to teach me how to write arguments. I'm actually studying politic, economy, psychology and other related subjects at school... and in every single of these classes, we have to give examples when defending a thesis... I am no n00b :)

My former PCP was a pediatrician and does not treat anyone older than 18. I'm now 19, and I have no medical insurance at all.

And my old psychiatrist wasn't cheap, but hell...if I can gather the money, maybe I'll visit him again. The last time I saw him was for a long diagnostic interview, and the diagnosis: paranoid schizophrenia.

Yes, I am continuing to lose touch with reality, and also, I already attempted suicide a few times in my life. Trying to drown myself at the age of 14 was the most extreme instance of my attempted suicide experiences. I was also a frequent cutter beginning in middle school (cue the retarded emo jokes), and it spilled over into high school as well. I've been hospitalized over my cutting habit, too, and I'm really trying my best to forget my hospital experiences. They were that bad.

Another argument you could have made is that an insane amount of bands are from non English speaking countries, where English isn't their first language, and they still know the language better than rappers here in America do.

You say that once someone has stopped being respectful or formal you're going to sling insults at them in retaliation and throw out all etiquette. I don't understand this "Well if they do it I'll do it too!" thing. I've seen it a lot around my area actually and it's always used to justify horrible behavior. "Well I ain't no racist but if they call me cracka I've got a few choice words for them too..." it's ridiculous. Your taking this way to far. You cannot compare what I said to racism or any "horrible behavior as you said". I was not actually trying to win an argument. I was just making fun of her ridiculous way of reacting to anything that I said. In other words, I was just playing a game with the girl. To make her understand that I was not going on a war against pop music. I still find it ridiculous to read lame arguments like these. If I tell you I do not like a band that you like, why do you have to try to fight back by insulting my favorite artists, instead of just explainning me why you like the artist that I dislike. Cause this is how we started this debate. I was explainning how I thought Lady Gaga was no good and other stuff. Than this girl came out of nowhere, flamming on metal music, telling me I shouldn't be posting negative comments in artists shoutbox. So we went on an argument in our personnal shoutboxes. And that's how we got there.
