Well, I think that "The Sound of Perserverance" is overrated, if just a little. Chuck's vocal style is not as good, and the overall sound is a little too far away from their death/thrash roots.

And to correct Jackofshadows, all of what you guys are arguing about is bullshit, since there were more aggressive bands than Metallica in 1984 (Slayer, Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer, Kreator, Sodom, anyone?) and the whole thing about Metallica being anything but a very softened form of thrash metal is bunk. I only did four because I wanted to keep my half under 40 minutes and I have an incredibly long (13:07) song called "Silence" and an instrumental called "Voiceless" that's around 12 minutes long, but the other two songs, "Beyond the Gates" and "My Downfall" are both reasonable in length, both around 5 and a half to 6 and a half minutes long, so there should be no problem with the split.

For your half, one thing I would like is just to make the production a bit better than your last, and the songs a bit longer, but that's it, other than that I think you will do fine. Bye!

Yes. Now, get De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas or Chimera by Mayhem and also get "A Dead Poem" by Rotting Christ and "Storm Of The Light's Bane" by Dissection and Borknagar's self titled debut or "Empiricism" also by Borknagar. Those are my reccommendations for now.

It has gotten better. The drums sound more bassy now and they are less distracting. My new guitar will still take a while :(

Rust in Peace is their best, but Countdown to Extinction(the one where Skin O' My Teeth is on) is still good. Slower, less technical, but still nice.

Rust in Peace...Polaris has some easier moments, but there's still so much difficult stuff in it....there's only one song on Rust in Peace that I can play through: Tornado of Souls(except the solo, I always try improvising)

I guess... Cradle of Filth is good, but the only band in that list that I like other than COF is Black Sabbath. Eh, what the heck, your in. Just improve your grammar.
