Oh, and I will be doing a song just for NG. It's name is unknown, but it will be 14 or so minutes long. The prod will be claen and subdued, which is different than most of the stuff I do. It will have an acoustic intro, and then the guitars will come in. They won't be distorted that much, and most of the vocals will be subdued. There will be singing, but it won't be prominent. The only thing is, through about 6 minutes of it, the singing will be there, but buried in the mix. I promise the drums will be better.

They are going to perform in Israel. I already got a ticket, but I'm thinking of returning it. Megadeth is pretty much just Dave Mustaine, who recently became an old fart, and some guys he hired. In fact, because Mustaine is such a fart, he won't play a show on the same stage with Satanists and that got Dissection cancelled. Couple of great songs doesn't make a band good, it jusat means they got lucky once or twice. It's the same with Amorphis' Black Winter Day and Entombed's Night of the Vampire. Both songs are awesome but the bandds themselves are just crap.

I've had Testament's complete work for a while now but I never bothered to hear anything except for Demonic, The Gathering and a few songs from other albums which I knew were good. Recently I gave Low (the album) a listen and it's fucking awesome! Apparently it's Testament's first album with a near Death Metal sound.

Also, is it just me or did Slayer sell out? For a while now their songs are way below the level of playing that got them their fame, they put out DVDs, Special Editions and Collection Discs (which naturaly pumps more money into their pockets) every chance they get and pretty much just pose all the time. It seems to me that these days they are just concerned with money.

Well, I think that "The Sound of Perserverance" is overrated, if just a little. Chuck's vocal style is not as good, and the overall sound is a little too far away from their death/thrash roots.

and I agree with everything that Sliggdogg said about the Metallica thing. "Ride the Lighting" is pure Mustaine.
