I think it's lame, you got to do it all by yourself. I do not hate effects on vocals though. Just think about the vocals on Demigod by Behemoth or the band The Kovenant.

But the original version of this song by The Kovenant is way better.

Yeah, I was in the process of writing a song about how Burton, Dimebag and Schuldiner all died before their time.

Then I stopped because I was going for a completely melodic sound, and somehow it sounded too aggressive.
