If one were to draw a Venn diagram of people who suck and people who dislike Ulver, there would be a huge overlap.

Seriously though, there's something for everyone. Metal fans like Bergtatt and Nattens Madrigal. Experimental fans like their experimental shit. Folk fans like Kveldssanger. I love Ulver.

So my a few of my friends have started a Black Metal band.
They named themselves after the book based on Black Metal history from the 90's; Lords of Chaos.

Go check 'em out. They're heavily Satyticon influenced but don't let that turn you away there's a lot of other influences in the mix which gives it a boost.
