Srsly you guys, the prog rock and avant-garde fans in here really owe it to themselves to listen to The Girl Who Was ... Death by Devil Doll. Clips don't do it justice. The whole song together is simply amazing. Most everything about the music is weird but in a great way.
Devil Doll sounds like random and mediocre ideas rather than music, let alone metal music to me.

Did anyone else know that Bullet for my Valentine ripped of Burzum? It's true.
Listen to the opening riff for BFMV's "Hand of Blood" and Burzum's "War"
FACEPALM :((((((((((((((9
also i got around to listening to Immortal's "Pure Holocaust" and it's pretty good. Nothing special about it, it's standard Norwegian black metal, but there's not a lot else to expect from Immortal. Drums are good though. And Abbath has a good voice.
Not quite a facepalm, but yeah, the album is good, but really, standard Norwegian black metal?
That album is from 93 man, no black metal band were playing like that. Burzum were slow and depressing, Mayhem were basic as fuck, Darkthrone, after their first album I guess, were doing the whole 'lo-fi hypnotic repetition' thing. I do guess Emperor had the same thing going, but, you know. Keyboards. Immortal raped all the competition, and they stand proud to this day as the greatest Norwegian black metal band. \m/

Boris and Sunn O))) - The Sinking Belle
That song is ridiculously beautiful and you'll probably like it because of that, but its a good accessable Drone song.
Dude, don't get his fucking hopes up.
I havn't heard Sunn O))) or even Boris do anything better than Altar.
I recommend Melvins.
