btw guys, I was just listenning to Agalloch and I was wondering how it should be classified. I know it's folk metal, but they do use some black metal elements, so em... yeah... I was just wondering.

Elements of folk/doom, black metal and post-rock in their first album, more post-rock influence in the second, even more post-rock in the third.

i suppose you could argue that its symphonic power, but at the same time you could say symphonic gothic, i just go with symphonic as it uses (or used) a rather large operatic choir (probably the wrong term but you know what i mean) rather then a standard lead singer although some songs they do and have a clean vocalist for some tracks and a growler for others

I'd say they are Symphonic Gothic, as Gothic sometime uses some elements that can also be found in Power.
