As far as most of the Hell is concerned Metalcore is not Metal, it's Hardcore with Metal influence.
Same applies to Deathcore and even some people think the same way of Grindcore.

As I've said in previous posts, we're not called the Metal & Hardcore Hell for a reason.
Which is why we don't talk about it here. It's merely coincidence that a few people hate it as well.

Both are Tech/Death Metal. Yet sound nothing alike.

Besides people consider Lamb of God more Groove/Thrash Metal to Metalcore. At least I do.
And Madball to be pure Hardcore rather than Metalcore.

Yeah I had a look in the folder where all my music is where I only have one or two songs by a band (only full albums in iTunes :)) and I'm getting them confused with Neuraxis. I do have some Neurosis though, must have gotten them when I was trying Sludge (s'what wiki calls them) out a couple of years ago. Never liked any of it back then, so I'll give them a fresh listen now.
