Actually, that's how I found out about them. You recommended Agatus, Varathon and Zemial quite a while ago and I got into them. You even sent me a couple albums via pm. And I started listening to Necromantia, Thou Art Lord, and the Elysian Fields recently because of your recent recommendations. So yeah, thanks very much.

Speaking of which, I have yet to own any albums by Varathon. I may get their discography soon after I delete some stuff from my computer. I'll likely get some from those other bands as well. And i hope Agatus releases a new album soon. And I hope it has that track on their Myspace, Gilgamesh.

And Bill, I listened to Dopesmoker earlier. First impressions aren't that great. It is a very long song though and Doom monotony for that long is going to be a bit hard to digest straight away. I started getting into it more about two thirds into it.
You get a lot of reviews saying how trance inducing it is... but I really don't get that. Maybe I should start smoking weed or something :P.
I also prefer Mr. Vocalists style in Om to the harsh form here.

I told two other friends recently and they completely disagreed and the most they were willing to give me is that it's there in the aftertaste a bit. I don't know what it is, do people taste things differently? I always had it pegged that we all taste the same it's just a matter of preference which one we actually like. Anyway this has nothing at all do with metal and is stupid as shit but I felt like contributing and I haven't listened to anything new lately so fuck it.

In my motherland of Austria, we have a music video program called Rage. It starts at 11:30 PM and finishes at 6:00 AM and it's on every Friday and Saturday. The first half of the show is hosted by a different semi-famous band each episode and they choose music videos they like, the second half is popular top 40 lists and such. I saw the music video for Sleep - Green Machine on Sunday at 2 in the morning. I havn't been happier all week.

This Saturday just gone I saw a Die Apokalyptischen Reiter song, can't recall the name but it was the last song for the night.

I had some money on a store credit card thing and I bought Seinfeld season 3, but I had £5 left and of the CDs there was two that I had to choose from, Jesu's EP 'Lifeline' and 'Mediolanum Capta Est' (Mayhem).
