My hair is quite long. I started growing it sometime in '06. It's pretty wavy, too.

awesome
About my hair, I would like it if it was a bit longer. It hasn't passed my neck yet, so it still doesn't seem long enough for me. I guess it's OK right now, though.

Combustion was awful though. It was like an entirely different band, the production made it sound nothing like Meshuggah.
Maybe I just only listened to obZen once and maybe I'm not so big on Meshuggah, but I thought Combustion was the most enjoyable track on that album.
If any of you have any of the following albums, please PM me.
Bucovina - Ceasul Aducerii-Aminte
Johansson - Sonic Winter
Minas Tirith - the Art of Becoming
Minas Tirith - ...Demons are Forever
Minas Tirith - Dissertatio Prophetae
Smile Carved Sour - Sound You'll Never Hear

Blotted Science are cooool :).
You've listened to Spastic Ink, yes?

I thought Bleed was the best.
One of the riffs in that song is amazing.
On the subject of hair, mine has been relatively short since I started college. The courses I'm taking require a lot of lab work so I don't want my hair getting into whatever I'm doing. It's entirely pragmatic. My hair just reaches midway of my neck.
Here I am, bored with everything.

I just tie mine back, it works just fine.
I've been growing it since '05, i get it trimmed like every six months or something. Whenever the ends are dying, really.
I must say, Acid Bath's Pagan Terrorism Tactics amazes me. Awesome vocals, whether clean but dark and brutal, or crushing high pitched screams. I got some Crowbar a while ago but it kind of bored me, Acid Bath is much better. Not all their songs are doomy, and the guitars and drums keep it alive. Also, it had bunnies on the cover. I couldn't resist.

Well you don't conduct experiments almost daily that requires a large about of precision and hopefully no outside influences on the experiment.
Also vote on my new music.

I love it, only been growing it since December 2006.
Mine is probably longer than a foot too, I pretty much guessed at its length, I've been growing it since summer 06, though I cut a few inches off in October of 06 for some unexplainable reason, which just made it take longer to grow out

Yeah same. A lot of people reckon I look older in my license because of my short hair.

It's okay SMS you don't need to make excuse to listen to it.
Nobody here is gonna judge you ;)

Haha you bastard :P It's not an excuse to listen to it, its more a learning experience, by the end of it i can tell anyone exactly why it isn't the best album.

Whoa, its been a while, but I guess it's good to post every 500 pages or so.
As to hair: I can't grow my hair long. I've tried, and it just shits me, it gets to covering my eyes, and I just can't stand it anymore. So I've taken to the cheap option, and doing homestyle haircuts, just get the clippers out and essentially have an army haircut. My uni ID photo was taken when I had longer hair, so now when I look at it, I can't believe my head was that huge, lol.
I listened to Alive or Just Barely Breathing by Killswitch Engage for the first time in years the other day. Its a shame the lineup changed and it all turned so hardcore emo, I can really get into that album. Finally picked up Reroute to Remain by In Flames the other day too, but still haven't given it a listen (although I have heard Cloud Connected before).
Oh. Your. God.

Yep, I should have given the album a few more listens to. I'm not able to now, though.

Haha, good luck. Myself, no matter how much I hate one album, I can manage to listen through it...Unless it's Disney, pop or J-Pop.

You should be able to learn the entire album in WAAYYYYY under a year.
I'm assuming you mean on guitar.
You can just pick the whole thing up in one listen.

Yeah, most of the songs are basically some variation of:
0---3---5
0---3---5
0---3---5
The only bit that's even remotely almost moderately challenging on the first go, and ONLY on the first go is the third chorus of The Unnamed Feeling.
Invisible Kid might be hard also, but only if you have a problem with guitars which are tuned lowly to the point of ridiculousness.
Not KoRn ridiculousness, but still pretty damn ridiculous.
In other news, some people say that tuberculosis is the curse of the Irish race. But I disagree. It's the motherfucking teeth. I have cavaties in all but 10 teeth.
Also, can someone recommend me some Instrumental Death Metal? Preferably of the non-technical persuasion?

I got two new albums.
Jens Johansson - Fission
Art Metal - Art Metal

Yeah, It is really Sad.
Weird thing is that my Grandfather Survived until he was about 50 then he Finally died, So My mom, and Thus I, am Really lucky to be Alive.
It's really freaky that he lived for so Long, since his parents and all of his 8 siblings died from Tuberculosis.
He was orphaned at 10 and had to move from farm to farm to work for food.
Then when he was an Adult, he Bought back this house, added another floor, Had some kids and then died right here in his home.
So yeah, Some background on how the Kiddmeizter came to be I guess.
He is the reason I never pity myself for "working too much" or "Never getting anything to eat" or anything like that, My family Teaches to Never give up, No matter how hard shit gets.
I'm Thinking of making a song in tribute to him, but I'm not going to until I can make one that's good enough.

I knew someone would bring it up. What's so bad about technical though? I adore technical music. It's the only instrumental death metal I know anyways.
