If you can find anything they copied or anything they sound like, than maybe that would bring more to the table.
They are popular, yet they are not un-original.
Panic! at the Disco
like Metallica and Megadeth are similar, thats not copying
The Academy Is...
Don't know em pretty much.
Cobra Starship
The singer of Fall Out Boy works with em, so that may be a good reason why they can sound alike...
I would say they all sound pretty similar although my knowledge and research on them is pretty weak, and i suppose to an extent you could include blink 182 in there as fall out boy seem to be the evolution of blink's music imo
lol, I really don't think so... blink 182 ?

way too much Melodic Death Metal and Thrash Metal influences
Double kicks and growling does not = death metal or thrash metal influences.
by what are they influenced then?...
Hardcore punk/hardcore/scene and nu-metal.
I really don't see it like that.
Trivium is a band that is known for liking Metallica a lot, As you may know they have made a cover for Master Of Puppets.
Also... I hate punk, hardcore and I just like a few nu-metal bands, but I love metalcore music just like I love power, melodic death, death, thrash and prog...

I like the fact that they are not just following the mainstream music
I just saw this and nearly cried. If debating about this sort of stuff was a class i could take in school, i would be top of the class.
Why can't you respect other people's opinions?
I remember you sending me e-mails to tell me how cool my metal music tastes were awesome.
But now that you don't share opinion with me you got to act like a dick... thanks a lot

All Metal/Deathcore and Nu-Metal. In other words, NOT METAL.
Because you said so?
hahaha
The reason why I am stating this, is because lots of you guys doesn't seem to make the difference between metalcore and emocore or screamo.
They all go hand-in-hand.
Just like Technical Death Metal, Brutal Death Metal and Death Metal all go together.
Absolutely fucking not, you just can't get the differences. There is a big fucking huge difference between technical death metal and brutal death metal. And emocore isn't in anyway similar to metalcore
Same thing with tiny differences.
no
I don't like bands with fag haircuts and shitty lyrics,
Hypocrisy! Most of those bands have fag hair cuts and utter shite lyrics.
Omg... if the singer of Decapitated changed haircut would you stop listenning to them?
and also, I like their shite lyrics better than those random shit cannibal corpse keeps writting.
I also really hate it when good bands like Avenged Sevenfold let themselves slip in emo fashion, because you guys can't deny that they have at least a few nice songs.
I hate every single A7X song. They annoy me immensely. I am yet to hear one that doesn't make me want to kill myself.
listen to the drums in Almost Easy by A7X.
So maybe next time I'll talk about metalcore, consider the fact that I am talking about this kind of metalcore, and not the gay one with fag haircuts.
How about don't talk about Metalcore here at all and avoid stupid arguments. Period.
You just can't stand the fact that I don't share opinions with you. Argue is needed in everything to help people make themselves good opinions, thats just the way democracy is working.
It's pointless because nobody here likes Metalcore nor does anyone here consider it Metal.
Yeah, and majority isn't always right, and I know other people really like metalcore on Newgrounds, but they all left the Metal Hell because of your random bashing on them.
Sooooo
Sooooo
The reason why I consider bands like All That Remains to be metal (and some people in here have accepted ATR as being metal, so don't use the "nobody thinks it's metal" argument, cause it's just not an argument). I also have lots of friends who like metal and metalcore.
And just like 95% of the people in here you have not been able to bring any good point to the debate.
Insults and shitty comparisons have been the core of all you said to me.
The fact that I consider metalcore to be metal is that you got to understand that everykind of music as to evolve. Just like a lot of Black Sabbath fans have been saying that bands like CoB, Dark Tranquillity or Arch Enemy are not metal, you guys are complainning about metalcore because it's a new kind of metal and you just can't accept it because it doesn't sound like typical death or black metal. Generations are a problem here, everybody always have to despise the next generation because they just can't understand it.
Also, you have to admit that power metal, basicaly was influenced by heavy metal.
The main argument you guys are using is "Metalcore is influenced by metal, but isn't metal."
But you just can't support that argument... cause basicaly, a band before becoming metal has to be influenced by it... so every metal band have been influenced by something else...
And don't tell me metalcore is influenced ALL by hardcore, it's just a fucking lie right there.
Don't tell me All That Remains is hardcore, its deathcore...
But as you told me... you don't want to argue on it anymore, so thats the last time I'll be talking about metalcore here if you don't want to fight on it anymore If you still want to discuss it respectfuly, I'm always up for a good little discussion right here.
I hope I didn't insult you in that post, I may have been rude, but I didn't meant to insult anyone.
But if you really just think that you can't change your mind on it... than it's pointless that we keep talking about it.
So... I'll just start a new thing.
I just bought "The Scarecrow" by Tobias Sammet's Avantasia, do you guys like that kind of music?
