The Showdown: Questionable but acceptable (its on MA)
Horse THE BAND (capszzz): looked it up on Wikipedia, I'm going to say no because it seems to ridiculous, but I'll defer to a horseman that may have more experience with that band (nintendocore = lulz).
Bullet: No, sorry (waaaaaaay too -core)
Maylene: too much on the hardcore side, sorry
Protest: metalcore but acceptable, i guess
Slayer: the only 100% yes you have
The chariot: didn't find anything out about this band, unless its a punk outfit from georgia. I'll say no until you clarify
Blindside: Hardcore
Norma Jean: nope
Scarlet: metalcore

I'm going to say no, man. Way too many core and iffy bands. Feel free to ask for suggestions or whatever, but I think the metalcore or hardcore clubs would be better for you if they're still around. Good luck.

Mkay, I guess I didn't grasp the metalness of this club.
Anyways uhh... Later metal hell.

PS. "Metalness" is not a real word, yes I am aware.

As I Lay Dying
Bullet For My Valentine
Slipknot
SOAD

Haha oh wow.

The first two are bands I like, but aren't metal.

The last two I don't like and aren't metal.

Try again, bub.

Some of Sonata's older stuff is harder to get hold of if you don't want to wait for the shipping...Really all I want right now Shy; it may be kind of a pansy song but it's good. That's it, I'm re-installing limewire.

Hey guys, sorry for not being around much, only ever had snippets of time online. How is everyone?

Also, I'm looking for a good kind of black metal that I can mix with dark wave/EBM style music. Possibly on the extremes of V.E.G.A's black noise metal, as they like to call it..

It's for a music project I'm hoping to kick off soon.

Watch this space!!!

I like Grinfucked best out of "The Fury Of Our Maker's Hands", especially with the slight Black Metal style breakdowns they have halfway through the song and towards the end.

"I Could Care Less" was the first song of theirs I listened to. Bought a Metal Hammer magazine in 2003-4 {ish} and it had Machine Head's "Left Unfinished" and Akercocke's "Leviathan" on there too. My oldest, and most prized Metal Hammer CD. It got me into all three bands, and I've been loyal to them ever since.

On an un-metal note, that particular CD also had the Heart Process on there, which I found to be more than just a tolerable version of 'Emo', but even an enjoyable one. As well as Black Sabbath Bassist's Son's band, which I cannot remember the name of. They had a catchy song, though...

Hey, I just resently aquired a taste for progressive death metal. Can anyone suggest a few good technical/progressive death metal bands for me to listen to? I'm already a huge fan of Death, Rudra, Therion & Opeth.

Metal Hell | Industrial Crew | The Grindcore Gore Pit

Theirs only ONE "Hell Hammer", and it isn't a band... It's a drummer.

I dunno about Devildriver, they're not the greatest band.

Also, Devildriver makes an appearance in Scrubs.

It's sad that they call Devildriver speed metal though...

Cynic is prog death and Demilich is supposed to be tech death. Both are very good bands.

I know they have the bassist from Cannibal Corpse, but I don't think they count as death since not only are there no death vocals, there are no vocals at all.

But yeah, Blotted Science is fantastic. I hope we get a new album soon.
