I don't know about evil, but Swans are heavier than some metal bands (imo).
They would play so loud that people would vomit and faint.
A sample of their lyrics.
And here's the song. it's not as heavy as their early albums, but it's close.

Just making a sidenote in case you hadn't heard Drudenhaus. It's one of my favorite albums.

Manowar is FAR from evil.
I meant the flamboyant type of evil
Oxymoron?
Seriously how can Evil be flamboyant?
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

There's probably some really mean gay guy somewhere...

You.
HI GUYS I JUST GOT BACK FROM TORTURING KITTENS, RAPING SMALL CHILDREN AND BURNING CHURCHES AND ORPHANAGES, AND I WAS WONDERING WHO'D COME WITH TO GET A MANICURE.
What I meant when I said it was a weird list and he needed some metal eduation is this; The styles of music were extremely varied in the list, with rarely 2 bands from the same genre. I mean, if you like Gorgoroth, you're going to go and find some other bands that sound like Gorgoroth like Darkthrone and Burzum and listen to them too. And if you like Slayer you're going to have a heapload more fast thrash bands on the list. And if you like Mastodon you're going to have other ghey arse metalcore bands on your list too. The list was very inconsistent, and so he needs to find out more bands and drop a few bands.
I never said he couldn't be in either, by all means, I accept his.... Acceptance.
Anyway, I got a new drumkit today :3
Expect some fresh folk metal songs with real drumming in the coming weeks/months. Micing this bad boy is gunna be a bitch.

Hmm, that seem's sensible enough for me. Appears to be a misunderstanding. Anyway, any fan's of folk era Ulver, Vintersorg and Borknagar should definitely check out Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth by Woods of Ypres. They're similar enough to sound familiar yet they really have a sound of their own. It's an absolutely beautiful album.
?
Wow. *ignores all the bullshit argument from Ryan and Kidd for the 50th time or so*

You aren't missing anything. Despite some legion fanboys, they're mostly derivative and unoriginal, and their vocals (at least on Nocturnal, the only album of theirs I've given a spin because their first two are even worse) are crappy at best. Too metal-core-ish for me. To each their own, but I get tired of this band being over-rated. (NOT a nudge in your direction Rokuro, other boards I've been to hype that band too much, and I get sick of it).

Listen to Esoteric. I think that band is has quite evil sounding music.
I'm in a new band everyone.
Don't expect metal recordings soon, though. We're a stoner rock band.

I listen to technical death metal, yes. I think Blasphemy Made Flesh and None So Vile are some of the best made, but I like At The Gates' first two albums alot more.
The PenisClown listens to technical death. :3

I'm looking forward to it. Nothing wrong with that genre - you turned me on to Kyuss and I've always loved QOTSA (more stoner rock, but whatever).
Also, I heard that Kidd has now grown boobs, and that's what his sig refers too.
just the word on the street
Also by the way Imperium.
