Hey Anyone know Some Really Evil Sounding Metal?
I need some Inspiration, by Evil I mean stuff like this:

God of Emptiness
Bringer of Storms
Hell's Ambassador
Infinite Misery.

Some slow and shattering stuff.

lolwtf. I'm listening to the Far Far North EP by Einherjer and at the end of the second track, I'm sure I heard a tune from the Conan the Barbarian movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I'm looking it up now to see if there is any commentary on this, but so far, I have found nothing.

Haha, me and kidd got into an argument over what music is evil and what is not. I think there is music that constitutes being metal and really awesome but those four songs are just evil. Just the slow pure blood driving over all sound of them are evil.

The double bass pounding evilness is fucking awesome. The only few bands that have brought that feeling to me (that I have heard) are Morbid Angel and Hate eternal. Along with that belphegor song and cannibal corpse. Now morbid angels fast stuff along with the other bands fast stuff is not evil. Its just cool as fuck and metal but it doesnt constitute actual evilness :P.

What do you guys consider evil in a song?

Well, that depends.

Evil can mean many things.

Things as unmetal as Slipknot can be evil, solely because they overuse drop B.
Things as epic as Manowar can be evil, because of their lyrics and vocals.
Things as Satanic as Gorgoroth can be evil.
Things as Christian as Horde can be evil.

To be evil I believe it has to be sooo fucking slow and air cutting that when youg o to play it on the guitar you automatically flex your muscles. Same with moderate tempo evilness except it just makes you grit your teeth and jerk your head in a twitchy manner and through your back out of place its so fucking br00tal.

for me evil usually falls into the black metal category, evil for me is a word that paints a twisted maniacal image which i get quite nicely from Silencer and Peste Noire, the brutality and speed of death metal doesnt really give me the unsettled feeling that what im listening to is evil

You can never overuse Drop B you fag, The Band just plain out sucks, Drop B is awesome.

Drop B isn't as heavy as Drop A and isn't as Melodic as Drop C, some people may see that as a good bit of both, but I personally find it redunant.

Things as epic as Manowar can be evil, because of their lyrics and vocals.
Manowar is not evil at the leasy.

Blood and thunder mix with rain
Into the kingdom of darkness again
Lightning flash, my body in flames
All shall knee at the sound of my name

My path is set, I live with no regret
I am sworn to kill, never to forget
No road back, I never will return
Into the fire of hell I will burn and die
Die! Die! Die!
Into the house of death
Die! Die!
Into the fire of hell

How is that not evil?
Bah, I should have been clearer, I meant the flamboyant type of evil that was Slayer and Kill 'Em All era Metallica.

Things as Christian as Horde can be evil.
no.

Be honest with me here, have you ever listened to Horde?

Black metal is definitely evil when you think of it in those terms (silencer track made me lul hard no offense but those vocals hahaha).

I mean like, what I consider evil is just so fucking low that it rattles into your bones and makes you want to get up and just punch things. I mean not like work out music but just like HOLY FUCKING SHITTTTTTT music. That just makes your spine tingle.

I dont think actual lyrics constitute the evilness in something.

Like, if you took the lyrics and vocals away can it still be evil? No not really. I mean something so evil that right from the intro your just like..... oh fuck me.

yeh the vocals did take me awhile to get into but look at the lyrics as well, the guy is/was completely crazy and was institutionalised and the band ceased to exist, although now he is out and is running a dark ambient project

Vast Souls
And Inhumans,
Bitten By Infected Jaws

Abandoned Minds
And Corpses
Lurking With Moulded Eyes
Lacerated Bodies
Without Mourners
Nodding In Gallows

Crushed Skulls
Tasting The Fur
Of Dying Cats

Needles, Injecting Pain
Flamable Skin
And Deadly Thirst
Beyond Mind
Is Sleep To Be Found
Leap, Leap, Leap, Leap
From Life,
Leave Yourself,
Die With Me

You don't listen to Slayer, fag, And All the Metallica you listen to is St.Failger, And Maybe sum load.

Be honest with me here, have you ever listened to Horde?

Just did, Blandest thing I've every heard in my Life, more generic and Common than oxygen, The Lyric Subject is obviously gay also, Why even bother with this crap, Just listen to Normal Black Metal instead of wasting your time on Shit like this, I understand that you're too much of a pussy to listen to anything that is too good to be Christian, But You're not even getting the good parts of it.

get Anorexia Nervosa's Redemption Process, Better than the Shit you listen to, The lyrics are Christian so don't shit yourself.
Preview.

The most evil song ever is Wormphlegm - In an Excruciating Way Infested With Vermin and Violated by Executioners Who Practise Incendiarism and Desanctifying the Pious.

What a crappy idea of saying "I have no idea what I'm talking about".

Tuning is probably the least important part for "heaviness". So, were Korn the heaviest band in the world 'cause they had their guitars down to fucking A and their bass to whatever-the-fuck-these-hanging-spaghett i-noodles-are"?

So please go ahead and tell me why Korn's "Live Is Peachy" is heavier than Sepultura's "Arise" (which is Eb, by the way).

I won't even explain the hilarity of calling "C tuning more melodic than A tuning". I guess that would make me sick.

Think before you write, my friend.

PS: Metal-Command is right about Wormphlegm. Most evil stuff ever.

Drudenhaus is their masterpiece. I find it much better than Redemption Process and if you haven't you should check it out. There's some of the most completely chaotic song's that I've ever heard on that album yet somehow they're still catchy and sometimes even melodic.

All this searching is giving it this sort of Forbidden Holy grail Appeal, Like looking For the Necronomicon, The tape from the Ring, Or Something like that.
