I used to like a little bit of Cradle of Filth, but after a long time, I went back and listened to some of their and I hated it. I couldn't even stand to listen to Dani's voice. One of their songs I used to enjoy was "Born in a Burial Gown" which I now find overly theatrical. Every CoF song goes something like this: "we r pagan, hulksmash christian oppression + morbid crap"

*shrug* I guess I grew out of them.

Well, i don't know if anyone here remembers me, but anyway, today i was in a good music store, and realised i had no one to check out other than Soilwork, In Flames, Amon Amarth, Apocalyptica, Norther and well, the other 'mainstream heavy metal'.

So i figured i'd come back here.

Oh yeah, so i picked up a copy of Soilwork - Predators Portrait, and while its not quite Figure Number 5, it comes damn close.

Well, welcome to the club! You seem to fit well. Nice bands you listed as well.

I know I have asked that before, but does anyone know Insomnium here? Lovely Melodic Death Band, sounds like a mix of old In Flames and a little Dark Tranquillity with a sound of their own.

Heh. I own figure number 5 and a predators portrait, if you ask me, I like A Predator's Portrait more. Its kinda strange how both In Flames AND Soilwork changed their sound at around the same time.
I prefer older In Flames and the older Soilwork songs, the new stuff is good, but I prefer the old.

Hmm, didn't know you had a streaming radio staion thingy on your server, I didn't think the Metal Hell had a radio, so I decided to make one, but I dont have a server, I have my laptop, which I now know is not good for hosting things like radios 24/7. I can wait a month, I have a huge collection of metal, perhaps I could DJ?
