THis is my last week at uni until January. So that means no more broadband. Which means I want to get as many albums as possible while I still can :).

I've decided I want all Death's albums, and Electric Wizard's debut.
And I want something by that band Sam goes on about a lot... begins with E, they're a folk band.... and one my Moonsorrow...

And anything else you'd think I'd like.

slipknot isn't considered metal here, and you need to list a total of ten bands to gain acceptance in here. Here's how it works:

1. You list 10 bands.
2. One of our leaders (The Horsemen) decide whether your list is acceptable or not
3. If judged acceptable, you post here. If not acceptable, pack your bags and leave.

Equilibrium. A very good choice indeed.

and one my Moonsorrow...

Get Kivenkantaja.

And anything else you'd think I'd like.

I forget what your taste in metal is, so i'll just list some stuff i like

Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale
Skyforger - Thunderforge (and if you want some great acoustic folk, get Zobena Dziesma)
Solefald - An Icelandic Odyssey Part I: Red For Fire, An Icelandic Odyssey Part II: Black for Death, and Pills Against the Ageless Ills
Wintersun - Wintersun

Oh yes, I have heard of this. All this talk of Moonsorrow makes me want to listen to them. So I will

PS my friend gave me Norther's "Mirror of Madness" and Kalmah's "The Black Waltz." Both are pretty good, i'd give Norther an 8 and Kalmah an 8.5.

I don't own any other Sayricon albums, so I guess i'll look out for that one.

I didn't think it was that bad, though I don't know Cannibal Corpse that well.

No, it isn't that bad, just the worst for Cannibal Corpse.

I've always liked Slaughter. It isn't the best At The Gates album, but it is a good album in and of itself. Its no big deal.

It's good to know i'm not alone. That thing really grew on me.

I don't think its bad. What do you like?

Well, At The Gates, Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Demilich, Hypocrisy, Napalm Death... That's pretty much it.

If you continue to add valid points, make good conversation, and not be an asshole, then you're fine.

Well, thankyou.

Furthermore, I wouldn't put to much enthusiasm into a metal thread on a board that's meant for 13 year olds. I mean, I may be an oldfag (for this thread), but aside from the occasionally good conversation, I don't put much into this board. Its hard to, considering the maturity of the general crowd.

Makes sense.

its a message board for 13 year olds. Its no big deal. We like good input, so you're worth it in that perspective. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

You're a member? Funny, I've never seen you post in here. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us on your taste? I doubt you even know half the bands in here, and such inadequacy has lead to resentment on your part. Besides, why bother when you haven't contributed to a conversation in how long? I find it funny you seem intent on getting into something you're clearly not a part of, while making condescending "observations" about what goes on. I understand the maturity level is this club is generally low compared to your age and mine, and I sometimes have a hard time taking this club seriously as well. But if you have a problem with the conversation, you dictate it. Otherwise, continue to lurk.

Its good shit. I can't remember if I brought it up before or not, but I liked it. Its more death metal than anything else now, IMO, and the clean vocals can get annoying at times. Overall, I think its a solid but not quite spectacular album. If you liked Echaton, you'll definitely enjoy it. (Reminder: this is coming from an oldfag whose favorite Nath album is the Codex Necro).

That's because he likes BFMV.

That hurt me. A lot.

In actuality, I looked on Wikipedia.

Also, I'm in a tight spot because I forgot to do some homework. Afformentioned homework requires me to ask 4 people how they pray.

Now, as you are the only human beings I maintain any sort of contact with after about 7-ish, I have nowhere else to turn. (Except the Catholic Crew, but as I'm sure praying is a Protestant idea, screw that)

I'm going to go on a limb and assume most of you are atheists, so be thankful in that I've added an 'I don't pray' column.

If you help me, I shall bestow upon ye the secret of the 'Mandolin shred'.

Suckers.

Anyway, here goes, it works that you pick an option in the brackets in response to the question:

1. How often do you pray? (Everyday, sometimes, never, other)
2. When do you usually pray? (Morning-Evening, Anytime, Other, Never)
3. Where do you usually pray? (Home, Church, School, Other, I don't pray anywhere)
4. How do you pray? (Bow your head, Close your eyes, kneel, other, I don't pray)
5. Why do you pray? (Get closer to God, Thank God, Say sorry for Sins, some big word that I can't read because I've written essays shorter than that, Praise God, Others, No need to pray)

So, if you guys would help me (My RE teacher may be concerned about the people I talk with, but I don't really give a monkey's) that would be great.

I'll need your first name too.

And your credit card number.

I joined some time ago, probably around may or june. I kind of stopped comming here thanks to vacation (strangely, the internet is much less funn when you can go out every time you feel like it.) and recently, university. I believe I posted a "I'm back" message two days ago.
I also just kind of noticed that the childish habbit of giving crappy bands crappy names still hasn't died down yet, and wanted to respond to it.

But, just in case it makes you happy, I'll gladly act like I'm new and post 10 bands (you know, I might just not be tr00 enough...)
Lifelover
Herfst
Ancient rites
I
Kreator
My dying Bride
Tankard
Leng Tch'e
Sabaton
Sonata arctica
Rotting Christ
Nanowar
I think I can say I have a rather varied taste. Pretty much anything that's called metal, and quite a lot of music that's not (which is, for obvious reasons, not listed. I doubt 65days would get me "in" (again))
oh, and mate... don't think I don't know half the bands here. I'm would be the first one to admit my knowledge isn't that great, but you're not exactly talking about underground here.;)

Now that's cleared up, it's time for some conversation: what do you think about two guys kissing on stage, at a black/doom gig?
Because this pic came from a shining show, a week ago.
Yes, that Kvarforth
and yes, that's Maniac (Skitliv's touring with shining and hellsaw)
I don't really care that much myself, but I thought it was funny.
