Well, already checked out Turisas and Trans Siberian Orchestra. I enjoyed both, but I still haven't found that emotion I'm looking for in the violin.

How to explain this..... well, I'm looking more for something very emotional with the violin, something that transmits something like melancholy, sadness and/or longing

Check out Ulver's Svidd Neger if you're looking for melancholy, sadness, and longing. That album is beautiful and full of many emotions. And it has loads of violins.
