Rich Rod was never a big name. He played in a weak ass Big East conference and never won a national title.
So? It wasn't like West Virginia was pathetic, they went to multiple BCS bowl games and also won them as well. Hell, a lot of teams were clamoring to get this guy out of West Virginia, and it didn't turn out so well. Plus, the Big East wasn't that bad a couple of years ago when Louisville, Rutgers and West Virginia were in the national title hunt.
More Ohio State ass-kissing.
... we almost got beat by Marshall under Tressel.
Your point being? That was just one non-conference game anyways, the rest of them they either thrashed teams {MAC schools} or get their asses handed to. {USC, Texas in Columbus.} Last time I checked, almost counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
You do know that people are allowed to lose games right?
Oh my lord, I never knew that./sarcasm.
I see more Michigan bias by the way.
If that's how you feel, then I see more Ohio State ass kissing from you. Now you sound like Kirk Herbstreit from a few years ago, where he would not stop talking about the Buckeyes.
You are pathetic, take your Michigan bias elsewhere.
Now this is the pot calling the tea kettle black right here, considering you keep saying that Braxton Miller is a super clutch QB, and completely ignoring the fact that Michigan {except for 2 games on the road} has been stomping some ass and taking names, while your Bucks keep falling apart to a .500 record.
I'm a Michigan fan, I speak what's on my mind and what I see. I'm not trying to be an ESPN analyst like you.
You say I do all kinds of "stupid" talk, but here you are talking like Michigan is going to be fantastic in the next few years.
Uh, yeah they are dude. This team is going to be loaded for at least the next couple of years or more, and considering that Brady Hoke is doing a pretty good job as coach, the sky's the limit. Plus, I do believe that we beat the tar out of a damn good Nebraska team, whereas you tanked a 21-point lead in the second half against the very same team. You sound like Michigan is a completely hopeless program of a few years ago, and it's not now.
Plus, you say that getting Urban Meyer would turn the Buckeyes into the Green Bay Packers of college football down the road, more or less, and all I'm saying is that it doesn't always work that way. Hell, you might not get him at all, then who's are you going after next if Meyer doesn't want the job at OSU?
Lol at the Michigan blindness and Mark May antics.
Sure thing there, Skip Bayless. Seriously, you should be debating Skip on First Take when you get the chance, because you 2 are like peas to a pod when it comes to asinine opinions. If you want to talk about the future of your team, then go ahead. As for me, I prefer to discuss the here and now when it comes to my teams, and then what comes after that, comes after that.
Maybe those scarlet and gray glasses are clouding up more than your vision after all.
