The world was shocked by the events of January 21, 2008, but if you look closely to what happened, there are a number of questions that arise that challenge the "official story" of the Giants Super Bowl win.

*Has a 12 point underdog ever won the Superbowl?

*Despite universal predictions that the Patriots would win, how could Plaxico Burress not only predict the Giant's victory, but also predict almost exactly the correct final score?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqErnh ihQFQ&feature=related
*Notice Tom Brady's nervous laughter to hearing Buress' prediction. Is he afraid that he had let the cat out of the bag?

*After his bold prediction, what are the odds that Burress would also score the game winning touchdown?

*How could a player who had not caught a touchdown all season catch one in the Super Bowl against the best team in the league?

*How could a team that beat the Giants only weeks before by three points then lose to them by three points?

*How could the leagues highest scoring team only score 14 points?

*Despite running drills and practices against passes all season, and for two weeks specifically against the Giants, why did the defense suddenly "fail" on January 21?

*Eli Manning was the winning QB in Super Bowl 42, Peyton Manning was the winning QB in Super Bowl 41. Their connection? They're brothers.

*Why were the Giants wearing hats declaring themselves Super Bowl 42 champions IMMEDIATELY AFTER the game? There's no way that hats can be made that fast.

*Why was Tom Brady seen wearing a cast on his leg the week before the Super Bowl?

*Why was Bill Belichick quoted as saying after the game "it is what it is."?

*Why has there been a complete media blackout of anybody questioning the official story of Super Bowl 42?

That's a quarterback mindset I guess. Pass, pass, pass, score, score, glory, fame, run up the score. I was a fullback and inside linebacker. You can imagine my mindset. Run the ball every play and knock the shit out of the person in front of me. As long as you got a W on the board and the other team feared you then that was good enough.

Even though I rather run the ball more often I was still the leading receiver on the team for some reason. That being said I only had like 350 receiving yards so I guess you can see how big of a running team we were.

Also, in high school... I would never have gotten a shot to play QB and I likely would have been a possession receiver.

You never know. I only won about 3 games my first three years and went on to go to the playoffs my senior year. I started each game those four years both ways, but that was because I was willing to play anywhere on the field. You don't find many high school track athletes who run around a 4.4 - 4.5 40 yard dash start at guard and defensive tackle his freshman year, but we only had about 20 kids on the team any given year and I played where I was needed.

The only position I wouldn't have been good at was a quarterback and kicker. Ironically those were the only two positions I never played on the field.

WOW so far Ravens vs. Jags has been one of the ugliest, sloppiest, and most disappointing games I've ever watched. This is just fucking pitiful.

And for the second night in a row, the World Series is more interesting than the football game. The only reason I flip back to the MNF game is to check and see if my fantasy opponent is getting any points off of Billy Cundiff. I'm ahead by the narrowest of margins so a Jag shutout of the Ravens would be fine with me.

I quit football right before junior high. I was a quarterback. I also didn't feel putting the work in was worth getting our ass handed to us game-in and game-out. We were probably the smallest school in our conference.

Really? I was a Defensive Tackle when I was in Junior High, and I had no issues putting the work in at all, although my team was actually pretty good, so I felt like it was well worth it.

Also, in high school... I would never have gotten a shot to play QB and I likely would have been a possession receiver.

The old coach at my high school wanted me to play as a goal-line fullback, in a system where they throw the ball a lot, even in the red zone, which meant I wasn't going to get the ball too many times, if at all, and that's where I called it quits after my freshman season in high school. It also didn't help that that team was loaded with ultra talented D-linemen as well.

I agree, but it has to be done with your backups after you get way ahead. It's not worth getting a starter hurt and the Saints did it perfectly in my opinion.

All I can say is sometimes you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail, and on that night, the Saints had a heavy motherfucking hammer that night.

And what the hell is going wrong with the Ravens? Best team in the AFC my ass, especially when they can't move the ball against the Jagoffs, much less even score.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I don't think I've seen them play this bad since McNair was our QB.

After that pathetic Ravens performance I'm now 7-6 for this week. My picks were shit, the Ravens were shit and they lost against a shit team. What a shitty week for me.

Oh by the way, the Dolphins just signed JP Losman as their backup QB. Matt Moore is semi-injured and they didn't trust Sage Rosenfels, heh.

So I guess Suck for Luck is in full swing.

Just imagine if both the Colts and the Dolphins go 0-16 this year, then who's going to end up with the number 1 pick? The Colts need to scrape themselves off of the Superdome's turf, and as for the 'phins, well, about the only thing that could go worse for them other than St. Tebow smiting them into mush in the 4th quarter, is that somebody goes all South Park on them, shouts "Fuck You Dolphins!!!" while throwing harpoons, metaphorically speaking. {Oh, wait a sec, Brady already did that in Week 1.}

College football comes again a week after a big shake up. Early games include the big match up of No. 11 Michigan State at No. 14 Nebraska. I think Sparty can win at Lincoln. Mid afternoon games include Baylor at No. 3 Oklahoma State. I think OSU will end any Heisman chances RGIII had. No. 9 Oklahoma at No. 8 Kansas State I expect an undefeated to go down and it's KSU. I don't see Bob letting focus drift here and again. No. 22 Georgia vs. Florida at Jacksonville I expect to see lots of offense, more so than the Jags, and I think the Gators will win. Georgia in recent years have been a disappointment and I expect them to fall again. Not really a ranked match up but for tradition sake Navy at Notre Dame worth at least a peak, maybe a watch if it's close.

Evening, No. 13 South Carolina at Tennessee, yeah, the Gamecocks will roll, and same for No. 5 Clemson playing at Georgia Tech. Clemson is the big surprise of this season and it would be interesting if they can stay undefeated until their match up with South Carolina. No. 15 Wisconsin at Ohio State should be an easy Badger win. Of course you never now with the Badgers soft schedule how good they really are. Game of the night will be No. 6 Stanford at USC. Stanford is good and that is a huge understatement but playing USC even with all the penalties from the NCAA, they are no push over. I think the Trojans will pull an upset and it shouldn't even be considered an upset with USC having only with one loss to a decent ASU team.

At halftime, it's 7-3 Wisconsin over Ohio State, way to play offense in the 21st century. And don't get me started on how the mighty Wisconsin defense keeps giving up 1st downs to a freshman QB from 3rd and long, no less. Are they really still that hung over from the Michigan State loss, or is this just another Wisconsin collapse all over again? We'll see what happens in the 2nd half.

Wisconsin and Ohio State: Man it's must be terrible to be a Badger fan, losing two weeks in a row on a hail mary. And what is up with OSU storming the field. I thought that was pretty stupid.

And Stanford and USC live up to the hype with three OTs. It's just disappointing that it had to end on a USC fumble. Last major hurdle for the Cardinal is Oregon in two weeks and them the Pac-12 Championship and beyond.

I'm honestly suprised that Wisconsin is still ranked after choking that game away. I thought they were supposed to be much better on defense than that, but they just let Braxton run around like that and let him complete a hail mary pass again to win. Maybe they should focus on making cheese, because that's a kind of game they should have won, especially with a 5th year QB at the helm.

Ok, I will give a little bit of credit to the Buckeyes defense for playing well and all, but in typical Wisconsin fashion, they find a way to lose a game that they were supposed to win. {probably understand why they have no national titles, lol.}

Well, it's LSU-Bama week, where whoever wins this game is most likely going to be in the BCS title game, if not win it all. Let the hype train begin. {of course, ESPN would hype this game like crazy.}
