Most of it's pretty standard but I think have it to dock points if you kicker misses a 20-0 yard FG or if your QB threw a pick six.

Considering that the NCAA is in a middle of a lawsuit for using the names and likenesses of athletes under their umbrella, it really doesn't surprise me at the least that the SEC and the Big 10 would pull out of the deal. At this point, the NCAA is simply trying to cover their tracks

Frankly, not paying these student athletes when schools and coaches make so much money is immoral at best, and criminal at worst. People who are against paying student athletes are simply using strawman arguments to justify the exploitation of these kids, and preferably should shut up and not watch college football, lest the blatant hypocrisy clouds their judgement anymore. For all of his attention whoring, Johnny Manziel may be the posterboy for the change in college sports in general when it comes to the petty yet despotic nature of the NCAA.

College football is finally back. The Badgers' schedule is too fluffy even with Ohio St. on the road but we'll still be gunning for another chance at the rose bowl. Also, lol KState

I'd rather have 6 people who will actually play than 10 or 12 where only 5 are actually trying. Besides I remember last time we had a small league it was like arcade fantasy football which is fine with me.

So the Raiders are starting Terrelle Pryor for week one? I never knew that even in death, Al Davis is still controlling the team, because there really should be no way that Pryor should be the starting QB over Matt Flynn. Clearly, they must want Clowney that badly if they really are committed to starting Pryor over Flynn.

To be fair, the team around them is so godawful, it's pretty much a wash who's the starting QB, because they'll easily lose at least 10 games, if not more.

It's kind of hard to pity an athlete at the NFL level, but you kinda have to pity Matt Flynn at this point. He got the carpet pulled from under him in Seattle for Russel Wilson, {who get too much credit because of their defense and running game} and now with Terrelle Pryor, {albeit unoffically at this point.} who's a smaller and more mobile version of JaMarcus Russel.

Matt Flynn is probably the most fortunate person in the NFL. He got like a 27 million dollar contract off 1 game in which he put up big numbers in a meaningless game. He's really not that good and he cashed in big at the right time.

The problem is how would we know he isn't that good? If Tim Tebow was godawful in practice, only to lead Denver to a playoff win a couple a seasons ago, then I can't see how Matt Flynn doesn't deserve an opporturnity to start. I really don't think that it would've made any difference to Seattle if they started him over Russell Wilson, considering that their success was from their defense and running game.

Of course, most people would envy Flynn's position of taking that much money, but at the same time, NFL players want to play, and I can't imagine that Flynn is worse than QBs starting for teams like the Jaguars, Jets or even his own team, especially when we've seen him play pretty well in 2 games. {albeit against bad defenses, but still}

About time I give this thread a meaningful bump.

From a pure neutral perspective, The Michigan-Penn State game might be the best game of the whole year, but sadly I do feel like this game was essentially tarnished by a mixture in ascending order, bad kicking when it mattered most, turnovers and not cashing on said turnovers, and horrible officiating, especially with the phantom pass interference in the 5OT. Shame it had to end the way it did with the refs not putting the flag away and simply let them have the benefit of the doubt.

While I can say that Michigan didn't deserve to win this game, considering all of the high-wire finishes they had during this season, if ever there was a case of highway robbery by the refs, there would be some credence. {Sadly, an all too common occurrence with college refs the last 10 years or so.}
