Of course, that is if they play hard in the Pro Bowl to begin with, especially on defense. The competitive aspect would still be slim to non-existent anyways, so it'll probably be no different than specialized positional competition, {similar to Elite 11 with High School QBs} or a skills competition, which they should go towards instead.
It's situations like that that make me think that this event is still pointless even with the changes.
It's football, {in a way} so people are still going to eat this up for what it's worth. Considering the circumstances, they should at least show a skills competition like they do with the NBA, which may add some legitimacy with the event, but not by much.
