Well it happened and they will face Florida St in the Orange Bowl.

Yep, they will face Florida State. The Sugar Bowl match up would be Florida v Louisville.

The funny thing is the OU is now going to the Cotton Bowl to face former Big 12 team Texas A&M.

Okay, it's that time of year again, what's your favorite BCS Bowl Name:

For me, it's gotta be theTAXSLAYER.com GATOR BOWL. Still makes me laugh.

Also, is Navy v. Army even going to be worth watching on Saturday? I'm almost positive that Army has not shot against Navy...

Soon to be 0-3...

Let's use a irrelevant excuse. AT LEAST THEY WERE THERE LOLOLOLOLOL

No, that would be the Bills example, dumbass. {I'm not spelling that out for you BTW} And the only reason why Wisconsin is in is because of that greedy prick Terrelle Pryor thought it was a good idea to trade invaluable awards for FUCKING TATTOOS, and a spoiled goon of a coach Jim Tressel for sweeping it under the rug all this time. I know you don't give a shit, but the NCAA does, and you were pretty damn lucky to get away with what you got.

Penn state got banned too, but that's neither here nor there.

So, you don't care that the Big 10 is rated with the shitty football conferences?

You only care about OSU anyway. As long as they're on top, it doesn't matter if the Big Ten is as strong as the fucking WAC as it was the last couple of years. Elitist.

There's no rule against stealing recruits you fucking idiot, players are ALLOWED TO DECOMMIT. You sound like Brett "I'm asshurt" Bielema when Urban first started jacking recruits.

So in other words, it's okay to steal recruits, that's a pretty slippery slope right there, but you don't care. Your little dreamworld revolves around your precious Buckeyes do no wrong and winning, then comes the reality check you like to use on me comes back to you.

I'll bet you had no problems when Pryor and those boys sold awards for tattoos, or when Clarlett thought he could leave for the NFL after 1 year. That's what it sounds like to me. OSU just loves to set a positive example for everyone else, now do they?

Will be next year ;)

Prove it, don't make guarantees you can't keep.

Sorry, I can't hear you over the many future National Championship trophies we got coming.

In your fucking dreams. You're 0-10 against the SEC in Bowl games, until you turn that around, you won't be winning shit. {and no I don't count that Sugar Bowl game where you started 5 suspended players, when you shouldn't have.} Read statement above.

We went 12-0 with basically the same team that went 6-7 last year. Urban Meyer was the difference. Urban is going to wreck everyone next year.

Once again, prove it. Urban is not the almighty god of coaching like you thought that Tressel was, just because he won with Tebow at Florida, doesn't mean he can with with a QB who has shaky accuracy and in general a glass cannon. You can only get lucky for so long, that's why they play the game.

Sorry bud, but we beat you. We beat the Big 10. We will be beating everyone from here on.

It will be so satisfying when we beat you guys in both the regular season and next year's championship game, if you even get there at all. I'm not one who believes in fate, destiny or any of that bullshit, but in this case, a lot of the signs seem to look that way.

Do us all a favor, and stop with your elitist bloating, seriously.

Going through the BCS bowl matchups, there was 1 bowl game that surprised me, and I couldn't believe that Northern Illinois got in the Orange Bowl over Oklahoma. Seriously? Northern Illinois had only 1 good win {if you could call it that}, and a bad loss to a bad Iowa team, whereas the Sooners losses were to teams that had who eventually had the #1 spot, and for Notre Dame, in the championship game.

I dare say that Oklahoma got screwed. They should've been the ones going up against Florida State, which would be a competitive game, unlike Northern Illinois, which will most likely be a thumping by the Seminoles.

Be a rebel, vote Jovan Belcher to the Pro Bowl.

That reminds me of the time when Howard Stern encourage people to keep voting for a crappy contestant in American Idol. This should be interesting if Belcher makes it in.

Then again they'll just replace him with an alternate so everybody wins.

Also, the Broncos eviscerated the Raiders last night as Peyton added more records to his name.

Is Denver Super Bowl bound? They seem to be one of the AFC's top teams right now, next to the Texans and Patriots...

Because they have Peyton Manning, and the AFC as a whole is pathetic, Denver has a pretty good chance of representing their conference, as long as they stay away from New England at Foxborough. It will also help if they can get a bye in the playoffs, and be one step closer to the conference championship game.

As of now, I still favor Houston or New England over Denver, but that could change if the Broncos get the right matchup and come into the playoffs hot.

Peyton Manning usually does this. He wins a string of games and clinches a playoff spot against weak divisional competition and then he gets stopped in the playoffs. If they can avoid Houston and New England then i'll say it's very possible that the Broncos make the superbowl. However, there are a number of superior NFC team they would likely face. Namely Chicago, Green Bay, and San Fran.

You got to remember that most of those years in Indy, they either ran into a superior Patriots team that had their number, {until 2006} or their defense let them down, often against vastly inferior teams such as the '05 Steelers, many times to the Chargers or even 2 years ago to the offensively inept Jets. Peyton Manning really should have had at least 2 Super Bowl titles, if not more if the Colts defense didn't screw him over so many times.

If they can avoid Houston and New England then i'll say it's very possible that the Broncos make the superbowl. However, there are a number of superior NFC team they would likely face. Namely Chicago, Green Bay, and San Fran.

The problem is that they probably won't avoid them at all, they will most likely have to face one of these teams to represent the conference. If they got them at Mile High, then they may have a shot, but if they play in Foxborough or Houston, then they can kiss their ass goodbye.

As a Broncos fan I remain optimistic. They have a great shot at the number two seed in the AFC- a win over the Ravens and the Patriots will likely have to win out to stop them (with Houston and the 49ers still to play, not easy).

Even without that though, I think the Broncos have enough about them to give anyone in the AFC a game, and they can certainly beat anyone put in front of them on their day. I know they lost early in the season to Houston and the Patriots, but there is no doubt that Denver is a better team now than then, with Manning a much healthier player. This is also by far the best defence that Peyton has ever had, ranked 3rd in a number of key stats and with Von Miller having a potential defensive MVP season.

As for so called better NFC opposition... I'd certainly argue that the Packers and Bears have done nothing this season to suggest that they would definitely beat the Broncos. Both are very much beatable in my eyes in what would no doubt be a very tight game. The 49ers are also very hit and miss this year- on their day they are possibly the best team in the NFL, but they can be very shaky on offense and let teams stay in games when maybe they shouldn't.

Not to mention that one of them will have to win at the Georgia dome to make the Super Bowl- something that has proven to be very difficult in recent years.

The reality is there are probably 9 or 10 teams with a realistic shot at the super bowl (Broncos, Patriots, Texans, Ravens, Packers, Bears, 49ers, Falcons, Giants + maybe Steelers), and not a lot between them. Any of them could go all the way. Any match up between two of those teams could go either way, and I think any suggestion the NFC is much stronger is misguided. There is more midtable depth in the NFC certainly, but the top teams are very evenly matched (the Broncos went 3-1 against a decent NFC South for example this season).

But yes, he really deserved it although it would have been nice to see Te'o win.

Other news, I'm sure that you all have heard of Cowboys' DT Josh Brent killed is teammate in a car crash while intoxicated. I wonder what Bob Costas will say this week. But the funny thing is that the NFL has a major problem with DUI's than they do with players committing murder and suicide as in Bulter's case. The outrage should be here with this case, but it's just going to fall to complacency when the news cycle ends.

If they want to do something about this, then the NFL should start suspending players who do drink and drive, I mean the NFLPA gives out numbers for a limo service when they are rookies, and it seems like they don't take advantage of this more. This is just as big of a safety issue to the players off the field, as concussions are on the field, and I would hope that Roger Goodell would do something about it.

Sadly, I just know that we will forget about all this soon, probably because the media as a whole will stop giving a shit about it, and move on to some other useless story.

Making up rules to penalize defense is a different story and I hope that's not what you meant.

How high are the Redskins fans ego right now?

They have a good team and a real chance of winning the division. So their ego is allowed to be high for now. I still don't think they can hang with a more seasoned playoff team in the long run though.

Indeed, with that said I hope it pops.

I mean this is one of the few times the Redskins actually did something right by drafting RG3 and no their fans starts acting like they're the shit.

They'll have to wait before they can talk however.

Then again, Snyder gotta love their bjs.

With that defense, it wouldn't surprise me if it pops against either Cleveland or Philadelphia. Then again, neither team is really that good at all, so it's possible that they might win out, if RG3 does play.

I mean this is one of the few times the Redskins actually did something right by drafting RG3 and no their fans starts acting like they're the shit.

The perfect counterargument is how many rings or even playoff victories do they have the last 10 years or so. One other thing that they did get right is when they drafted Kirk Cousins in the 3rd as a viable backup to RG3. No one doubts what RG3 could do, or what's he's worth to that team, but he's not even out of his rookie season, and the signs are already proving that he's a glass cannon with the concussion and the knee sprain.

The Redskins are kind of like the kid who got a shiny new toy with all those bells and whistles for Christmas, which is great and all, but it simply can't take a beating.

Bengals beat the Eagles, which means they just have to take down the Steelers to get into the playoffs. I'm hopeful they'll take this extra time that they have to prepare for that huge match-up.

That's the main advantage of playing in a Thursday night game, you get a longer time to rest and to prepare for next week's game. The funny thing is that the division is still up for grabs, largely due to Baltimore falling apart at the seams, but I fully expect them to win the division somehow. Now all this is assuming that the Steelers beat the Cowboys this Sunday, which they should, but we've seen Dallas fluke their way into victory over and over again, so that's what I would imagine the Steelers would be prepared for.

The funny thing is that the Jets are still in the playoff hunt, despite being one of the worst teams on offense and not much better on defense, but at this point they don't deserve to be there at all, and they will lose.

I don't walk around boasting like the 'Skins are the shit, but I am excited and I definitely think Redskins fans have a reason to be. We have an awesome rookie RB and I gotta say, RG3 is the first quality QB we've had in decades. As long as he can stay healthy, I think the Skins have a chance to be great. This makes me ecstatic.

At the same time, I am still a realist. I'm excited about the future, but I don't think they'll be serious contenders until we shore up the huge deficiencies on the O line (RG3 won't be of any use on the sideline), and the secondary.

Still, feels good for once to be a Skins fan.

I don't blame you for not watching or caring about this little bowl games at all, as personally, I think there are way too many of these damn bowl games already, although to be fair, some of them tend to be pretty good, on a competitive level, at least.
