NFC EAST is so sorry that my Eagles still have a chance to win it if they win out... I doubt it tho, I think The Eagles have too many injuries and are playing so pitiful that it would take a miracle for that to happen. I think Skins or Giants take the Division.

Why didn't the Officials blow the play dead when Houston Texans player was down?

Didn't make sense, even live it was obvious he was down. These Officials are worse than the back-up Officials. Can the Officials please go back on strike?!? The Officials changed the momentum of the game at a critical point of the game when Lions were up by 10 points and could have added more... Ridiculous...

Did the Officials have Money on the game?

With Hall of Fame being few months away, I went to have a look at Michael Strahan's stats and noticed how after White and Smith, most of the pass rushers seems to decline after the age of 31 to 33. Right row it's too early to judge on Jared Allen and Julius Peppers but in the case of Dwight Freeney, Simeon Rice, and Jason Taylor, they started to decline around that span while Strahan manages to have his peak years at the same span.

Even after suffering from a pectoral tear in 2004, he still have an All-Pro year a year later (though Osi had a breakout year that time). Then Strahan gets hurt in 2006, missed the training camp and much of the pre-season in 2007, resulting in a slow start before coming around to have a all-pro caliber year in the end.

Was Strahan among the exceptions on how the current pass rushers career went?

Norte Dame beats USC and are most likely going to the BCS Championship game. I'll bet 'Bama fans are licking their chops after seeing tonight's game.

I'm going to ignore the previous poster's total idiocy and overall middle school behavior.

Anyway, I really do believe that this years' Irish is a team of destiny, considering their murderous row schedule and how they are able to pull out wins every which way. Now with that said, I expect Notre Dame to get beat down by either Alabama or Georgia in the title game, but then again, I think we all said the same thing when they played Michigan, Oklahoma, USC and even Pittsburgh, and we've been proven wrong time and again.

I'm still bummed out that Notre Dame can't face off against Ohio State for the championship this season. I think a battle between two undefeated Midwest teams would be an awesome contrast to the SEC dominance we've come to see over the last six seasons.

Although, I take solace in the fact that there's nothing saying that the Buckeyes can't go undefeated and get another championship season next year.

Aww got nothing to say about your sorry asses getting kicked?

Ok, a 5 point win is considered an ass-kicking then? I tried not to get into this mess, but you forced my hand into this. All I can say is don't get used to this, I can guarantee you that the outcome will be much different next year in our favor. Never mind the fact that the Buckeyes cannot hold a candle to either Notre Dame or the SEC, no matter how hard they try.

Moving on, the Browns beating the Steelers? Well that's what happens when you turn the ball over 8 times with Charlie Batch at the helm. At this rate, they can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

I seriously think Cincinnati is going back to the playoffs this season. That may just be the Bungles Fan in me talking, but I think that after watching their last three games, they can easily beat the Chargers, Cowboys, Eagles, and a wounded Steelers team. While the Colts have that coveted #6 seed spot now, I'm almost sure they'll lose it after two beatings from the Texans in their last three regular season games. Fingers crossed.

What idiot paid 100 million dollars for Michael Vick? Was that Jeffrey Lurie?

LOL, lets pay an ex-con 100 million dollars that never won a passing title ever. Great job Eagles organization! *Claps, The Giants fans keep making fun of us and they have every right to do so. I know Vick's not a bad quarterback, but he definitely isn't worth 100 million dollars even if he had a better offensive line. Didn't you see what he did in the playoff game against Packers? He threw right to a Packers player.

The Ohio State Cheating Suckeyes suck balls and they deserve NOTHING for being disgraceful cheaters. Plus they play in the Big Ten which is VERY WEAK.

Although, I take solace in the fact that there's nothing saying that the Buckeyes can't go undefeated and get another championship season next year.

Until the Suckeyes actually have the balls to play against a top 10 team and win, they deserve nothing. Brad Miller is going to spend the rest of his life on a wheelchair if he faced a brutal defense like Bama's or ND's.
The Suckeyes suck and they would lose to Bama by 50, get over with it.

If it makes you feel any better, there's always those awesome historical regular season comeback wins in 1978 and 2010 against the Giants while we get to cry over the Vince Lombardi trophies.

It's saying something when the Eagles felt a lineman in his late 20s is worth drafting in the first round and blew a chance to get a certain safety who is now with the Seahawks because Graham has those awesome high-motor powers.

I heard of making excuses for losing, but now your making excuses for not winning by more. Dude, I think you seriously underestimate the Big Ten, and more importantly Michigan. Next year, everyone will have you on their radar, and you better believe that they are going to have their A-game this time.

Urban Meyer is a better coach than Jim tressel ever thought about being. Basically we are going to kick your sorry asses again. Sorry dude, but we are only going to get better and we will dominate you and the big ten.

No you won't. Even the greatest coach has a nemesis, a team that he can't seem to figure out no matter what he does. Remember that Tebow was on those Florida teams when they won it all twice, and as good as Braxton is, he's no Tebow. Whatever you do, do not underestimate Michigan's ability to recruit players, our track record has proved that we have gotten a lot of good players, and now we have a coach that is far more competent than the other guy. {Rodriguez}

No longer will Ohio State simply walk all over the Big Ten like they did in the past, and that you can't debate.

I'm not mad about the loss, but what upsets me is that you take a 5 point loss and you make it sound like the Wolverines was never in the game.

Tebow was power. Braxton is grace.

So in other words, you assume that Braxton is the next Joe Montana or Andrew Luck then? He still had some games that were clunkers, and a better team would've capitalized on that, even though no one has this year.

Urban certainly has no nemesis in the Big 10.

That's cause he's new to the Big 10, you can only catch people by surprise once.

The Big 10 is still weak. We aren't a good team. Urban has been saying we aren't a good team all year. Wait until we ARE a good team and we will walk all over the Big 10 even moreso than we do now.

The Big 10 is not as weak as it was in the past. As for Urban saying that they weren't a good team this year, you may believe whatever he says, but the vast majority of us disagree, and I'll take their opinion over yours. It's going to much tougher to win the Big 10 than it was in the past, and I suggest you don't underestimate the competition, and don't overestimate your talent.

Damn, the Big Ten has every other conference quivering in fear.

I never said that the Big 10 was as strong as the SEC, but it's still better than the ACC or the Big East if that's what you're thinking. Funny thing is, before Nebraska came along, the Big Ten was about as strong as the Big East is now.

The Big Ten is garbage right now in football bro

No, the only team that anyone cares about is Nebraska when they beat the tar out of Wisconsin this Saturday. No one will care about Ohio State when the bowl game starts because they're not in it. Besides, the Big 10 is still better overall than the ACC or the Big East. Next year, just try not to be the Philadelphia Eagles of college football, all hype and empty promises when you can't catch everyone by surprise like you did this year.

Montee Ball has the all time touchdown record... people give a shit about Wisconsin even though I hate Wisconsin, it's not like they aren't there.

They're 7-5 with a third string QB, no one cares about Wisconsin, period. I guarantee you that Ball is the only player that anyone outside Wisconsin or at least the Big Ten knows about. Oh, and they're 0-2 in Rose Bowls.

I thought we would compare ourselves with REAL conferences... Pac-12 and SEC are the premiere football conferences and the Big 10 used to be right there with them.

You do notice that the ACC and the Big East do play football right? Granted, they're nowhere near the level of the Pac-12 or SEC, but that still doesn't mean you could ignore them.

Thanks for the recruit by the way. We got 3 outstanding CBs coming in now.

Dude's making a big mistake, that's all I can say. Oh, and quit stealing other team's recruits unless you want the NCAA punish you guys again. God forbid you actually play by the rules like everyone else, and not have selfish assholes trade their stuff for tattoos.

Yet again, quit acting like being better than the bitch conferences in football is an accomplishment. We should be stacking up toe for toe with the Pac-12 and SEC... I would say Big 12, but who knows how much longer that conference will be relevant with all the conference reformation.

Except that we can't stand toe to toe with them. I know for a fact that Ohio State can't hang with the elite of the SEC, or Pac-12.

Ohio State is always relevant. People may have been slightly surprised with undefeated BUT EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET OSU EVERY YEAR.

Not last year. To be fair, the Buckeyes were the measuring stick in the Big 10 for the last decade, but for much of Big Ten's history, Michigan was the top dog when the conference was the best in the country, and it won't be long before we take our place at the top, or at the very least compete for it often.

Every team wanted to kick our ass worse because Urban Meyer snaking all the recruits from everyone, but that didn't happen. We are ALWAYS on the radar. We are ALWAYS relevant.

And you will get what's coming. You will be on everyone's radar now, and most teams will play their A-game against you, and a few of those teams will beat you. Until you prove it to everyone that OSU can win the biggest games on the level of an Alabama, LSU or USC {circa 2005} then anything you say is irrelevent, this debate is over.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

This. It seems like every team outside of the SEC has played against the elite SEC teams in big games, and has failed to beat them, some multiple times. On defense, they're virtually the same in scheme and talent, but Alabama has an cohesive offense, Notre Dame does not, and that is why the SEC will have their 7th national title in a row, and I don't see anyone else threatening their dominance in the near future.

There should be a mercy rule for the Big 10 Championship game. It's getting embarrassing.

So it's pretty much set for the BCS Bowls it seems.
BCS: Notre Dame v Alabama
Fiesta: Kansas State v Oregon
Orange: Florida State v Louisville
Sugar: Oklahoma v Florida
Rose: Wisconson v Stanford
