Is Andy Reid a moron? Why did he have the Eagles run the football with a minute left against a great Ravens?

Against a great Ravens run-defense? Now the Ravens just made a field goal because of that fat stupid slob. Why don't we fire this ******* moron? The only reason he has the most wins in Eagles history as a head coach is because of the talented players Eagles have had in recent history. His coaching is one of the worst in football.

His coaching is one of the worst in football.

And his draft choices too, remember drafting a 28 year old rookie on first round?

But then again, gotta thank him for drafting Graham over JPP. Right now as far as coaches goes, he's pretty much the best you have for a time being, he did have a ring from his Packers days in the 1990s.

The Eagles played great, however the play calling for The Eagles is bad in my opinion. Agree or disagree?

What was Andy Reid and the offensive coach thinking during the last minuter of the 2nd quarter running the football 3 times in a row against a defense known to shut down the run? The Ravens ended up capitalizing by getting the football back and kicking a field goal.

Thank god we won, but I believe we won because of our talented bunch clicking great while I personally believe our play calling is very suspect and has been suspect for awhile.

Giants played a messy game, but I'll take the win.

Still they have to play better, it was crazy.

God damn, Panther probably would have lost if they let that biased as Official call that game. Thank god he was cut.

Figures as much. For all of their talent, the 'Boys are one of, if not the most inconsistent team in the NFL. One week, they're world beaters, and the next week, they're shit. Of course playing in Seattle, the loudest stadium in the league, weird things tend to happen more often up there, and even good teams can have their troubles there.

Speaking of troubles, where in the hell did the Bengals defense go? Yeah they won, {like they would lose to the inferior Browns at home.} but there were times where that defense just got carved up left and right. Even if it is a rivalry game, there shouldn't be much of an excuse for keeping Cleveland in the game for that long.

Didn't the Bucs have like a 20+ points over The Giants? LOL, must suck being a Bucs fan after losing a game you were dominating at times.

You guys also did some play calling I didn't agree with, I know Ravens and Eagles have great runningbacks but at times I felt like both teams used the runningbacks at the wrong time. Sometimes The Ravens did it perfectly because their running back had gotten a lot of yards at times but I hate when coaches do running plays on the 3rd when they have ot make a long pass to get a first down. It makes 0 freaking sense to me, and I believe both the Eagles and Ravens did that at times in the football game.

The reason they do that is they're playing conservatively and rather than going for the first down, they decide to go with the run in an attempt to get better field position either for a punt or a field goal. Although, sometimes playing conservatively is not the best thing to do depending on the situation.

One particular play call from the Ravens did bother me though. It was in the second half of the game, the Ravens passing game was falling apart, it was 3rd and 2 and not only did the Ravens not give Rice a chance to run for those two yards (when his average yards per carry in that game was well over 2 yards) but they decided to pass. But not only did they decide to pass, they decided to go long. I don't know why they thought that was a good idea.

Yeah, when you have a runningback as good as Ray Rice and you only have 2 yards to go, they probably should have went for it. They should trust Rice at times. Aren't Rice and McCoy consider the two best runningbacks in the league? I think I heard the announcers saying that, but could have misheard.

I don't know about THE two best but they're two of the best. There's also people like Arian Foster, Maurice Jones-Drew, possibly Adrian Petersen, depending on how much his major knee surgery will affect his playing, and maybe a couple others.

His receivers deserve the respect, not him. I have no problem with Eli Manning the person, I think he's a funny guy and all but as a player I resent the fact that he gets undue credit. It amazes me that people will say players like Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees have their success predicated on the fact that they play in a certain system or in a dome but Eli Manning's success is found much more tangibly in his receivers' abilities to make ridiculous catches from throws that would sail overheard or out of bounds in normal situations. He is a good quarterback but he gets a lot of credit for getting lucky on the big stage. He gets more respect than he deserves, not to say that he doesn't deserve any, but he gets A LOT of respect that should go to Hakeem Knicks, Victor Cruz, Mario Manningham, etc.

That may be, but you can say the same thing for Rothelisberger, Cutler and even Romo. On their good days, they are either elite or at least very good at what they do, much like Eli. I mean, even Montana and Marino had to have an excellent WR corps too.

The QB, for all intents and purposes, is the leader of the team and gets much more of the respect with a win, and much more of the blame when they lose than anyone else. He has shown many a time that he deserves the respect of even the toughest of critics when he wins, and acknowledged his shortcomings when he loses, and that's pretty much what you want in a franchise QB. {Having 2 SB rings against the seemingly unstoppable Patriots helps too.}

I swear, I must be one of the few people who thinks that Michigan has a shot against Notre Dame, especially since that ND beat 2 cupcake teams {Navy and Purdue} and an overrated Spartans team, and now all of the sudden, they're back to national relevance again, ignoring the fact that they haven't even won a title since before the first Gulf War, and haven't been close since.

Talk about some serious disrespect, especially since we all knew what Robinson did to the Irish twice before, I really can't imagine the outcome being any different this time.

It's pretty much a tossup. If it was at Ann Arbor most people would take Michigan. I think the Irish have a pretty good chance of winning. To knock off State and to lay an egg at home would be too embarrassing and they won't be that unprepared today.

Speaking of the Big 10... Lol Iowa.
The MAC should get their auto bid for the BCS.

Then again, ND has been finding ways to embarrass themselves for the last decade or so, not to mention that Michigan State is still overrated, considering that they are struggling against a low-tier MAC team at home right now, so to me, that win at East Lansing doesn't hold water. Simply put, you really can't put your trust on the Irish winning a big game, and this is certainly not the only one they have to deal with.

Michigan is pretty much the last hope for the Big Ten's legitimacy, I can't see them squandering this opportunity.

Is there anyone in the Big 10 have any pride left in themselves?

And at halftime, the worst fears of mine have been realized, 5 INTs, {4 by Robinson} and in the most crucial spots as well. I dare say we're damn lucky to be down 10-0, because the Irish could barely do shit on offense either.

Well, Denard does perform a lot better in the 2nd half, but he has to be on a very short leash from here on.

Apparently not. Michigan loses 13-6.

The Irish are going to lose to Stanford in a few weeks so I'm not to overly concerned about national title hype at the moment.

My Sooners are doing horrible at home verse Kansas St. Got to give credit to Bill Snyder. He's done a quite and good job up there and doesn't really get enough praise really.

We might need to drown sorrows after tonight.

Turning over the ball that much, we didn't deserve to win that game. I still don't believe that ND is for real when it comes to returning to prominence or even in the title hunt, but I'll tip my hat to them for now, and we'll get 'em next time. I guess we'll have to settle with winning the Little 10 conference, and go to the Rose Bowl. {hopefully}

We might need to drown sorrows after tonight.

Well, if we weren't living so far away, we probably would've met at the same bar and drown away said sorrows over our teams performance, if that's your thing.

On a lighter note, the Badgers won again! Even though they are still a hollow shell of their former prominence at least they beat a bad team like they are supposed to.

Hopefully the Bills do the same. Even though the Browns look pretty solid up to this point I hope the Bills finally beat them.

Epic fail by the Jets.

They had a chance to score are in the red zone so what they do? Send out Tebow who tried to run the play and gets tackled for a loss.

Then the Jets send Sanchez back in a worst position and gets picked off at the end zone.

That's a really dumb playcalling by the Jets.
