Man you're funny

They did have a chance, a small chance at that but a chance.

The fact that Calgary lost makes it even worse. If they had pulled off a win then they would have had a chance to go to the playoffs, and probably would when you look at Calgary's away stats.

I'm not that pissed off anymore to take offense off of something like that. But when I was listening to the broadcast and I they scored the empty netter I had to go beat the shit out of some of my furniture to calm down.

I guess in the end you have to realise that it is just a game.

Relatively speaking, the Calgary Flames were trying to give it to us on a plate. We just couldn't get by the Preds.

and so begins the avs miss streak

I'll have $10 on that streak ending at 1.

As an Avs fan I'm dissapointed that we didn't make the playoffs. We just gave ourselves too much to do and we couldn't quite make it up. There's always next year.

And the Sabres won the President's Trophy last night - even though the Wings and Sabres both won, putting them at 113 points, if the Sabres lose their 82nd game, they will still take the tie-break on number of wins (53-50)

so those Canuck NGers in this club. No doubt we watch Hockey Night in Canada, on Saturdays. What are your thoughs on Nasvh Vinder, the East Indian announcer? I like this blue blazer. Those old 60s ones the old HNIC casters used to wear.

In theory, 15 NHL teams will win their last games. Only if all teams play their last games simeltaneously.

The way it could have gone is that Calgary could have beaten Edmonton, thus stopping them from winning their last game and then repeated the feat last night, by stopping the Avs winning their last game.

Congratulations to Joe Sakic on becoming the second oldest player in NHL history to score 100 points in a season. He now has 6 x 100+ points seasons. I'm pretty sure he'll pass 1,600 points and 1,000 assists next year.

No prizes for guessing that the oldest player to score 100+ points was Gordie Howe. Mr. Hockey scored 103 points in 1968-69, when he was 40 years young.

All you need is your AIM screenname to play, and it's quite different than what we did this season. I'm quite sure different teams can pick the same people.

Unfortunately there is no draft, but if you're itching for some fantasy action, the league id is 13353, and the password is wadefulpsbeard.

I joined, can you view other peoples players? The server is slow as fuck and I don't feel like waiting ten minutes.

If you can't see each other's players, lets just post our rosters here.

Wtf?

Are you insane? Modano is old, Amonte had around ten goals, Ekman was a phantom on a star-studed team, Cheechoo is injured,

Modano is still good. The others were accidental. I pressed the accept to early.

Norstrom isn't an offensive defenseman, and Chelios hasn't scored in 23 years. You DO know that you can pick anyone, right? No wonder you did terrible in Yahoo this year.

I'm currently watching the Detroit-Calgary saga right now, and I have to laugh..... no the game play is good, but if you can speak Cantonese then you'd get this joke. Anyways I hear the name Datsyuk alot. Pronounced as (Dat-sook). ah ha ha ha ha ha. Anyways. Dat Sook (or Uncle Dat), is one of the actors that often stars with Steven Chow (Hong Kong Hussle, Shaolin Soccer), He's the Hong Kong Jim Carrey (silly silly type of comedy that's good for only one or a few views).

Anyways, Ng Mun Dat, (Dat Sook), usually plays this typical Asian fat uncle dude (the thick dark mostash) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:God_of_gam blers_II_1.jpg who's clumsy bumblings get himself nearly killed, or often falls victims to the crazy schemes of Steven's characters. I favorite is when Dat Sook is parodying Terminator, and tries to protect a school of kids from some terrorists. only to find out that he runs out of ammo, and has to surrender so he waves his tighty whities.

So when I hear Datsyuk's name pronounced by the sports caster, and since he's a high scorer so therefore I hear it alot. I laugh.
