I like how you pass judgement on him before he even laces up for a game with the Preds

Not in the stupid one sided trade of me giving you Hejduk and Zetterberg as well

What am I gonna do, drop them and risk losing any more possible points?

Well, a player who's out for the season won't get you any more points, while you can pick up a player who may be a lot worse, but he can still score you points

He not going to magically become a durable player when he wears the god-awful mustard jersey.

Why not? The X-Men become mighty when they wear that banana yellow Spandex!

No, I like Peter Forsberg, because he left the Avalanche and then got shit. We had his prime seasons, but I do still feel a pang of admiration for him, as he takes all this punishment and still comes back for more!
You remember the time, it was in the playoffs... and he just got off an injury, you know?
Yeah, I remember that, but it didn't win us the silverware, did it? We were the defending champs then (after successfully completing "Mission 16W" in 2001) and he was on fire... for a while
Forsey points since trade: 0
Upshall points: 3
Forsberg's been playing with Kariya and Erat so far, and the line's been shutout twice. I'm not sure he can keep up with those two speedsters.
They should switch Peter to wing and have him play with Arnott. Being a wing is a lot less wear and tear on the body, and arnott doesn't fly down the ice like the rest of the Preds. Plus, those two huge bodies would be a force to reckon with.
Oh, and it would also help my fantasy team out.

No trade was ever judged on the strength of two games played.

Patience. Their time will come.

See, even you're coming up with ways to improve the way the deal works out.
Oh, and it would also help my fantasy team out.
Even though the motive may be questionable :P

Different team chemistry. Players work better with some personel and organisations than with others.

He was just fine with the same linemates last year. The man's just washed up and beaten down by years of overly physical play.

Well, he is getting older, but I still would have made that move if I was the Nashville GM. He's got a wealth of playoff experience, which the Preds players are lacking in.

Peter is a joke, he needs to retire before he starts sharing the scoring habits of Roenick.
Well that's your opinion. I'm not so sure.

07 rulz.
They need to work on how size impacts speed, though. Marleau's one of the fastest skaters in the league, but he's purely average in the game because his size throws off their calculations.

Yes and i need to work on the rosters on 07 because Peca plays for Toronto but on 07 he plays for Edmonton. Is there any easy way to update the rosters or will i have to do it the long and boring way that gamefaqs is telling me.

I heard talk about the game makers coming up with some method of updating the rosters via the internet connections (of course easier with a PS3 or XBOX360) I'd like to see that, but I've kind of turned my back on the whole NHL computer game genre

I think you can just hook up an ethernet connection (if you have a PS2 like I do) and can update it through there. I dunno, I think you may need something specific for it, I don't recall because I don't play online.
Anyway, my team is beast. As the Islanders, I traded off Yashin, Zhitnik & a 1st round pick for Briere & Kalinin, and then traded Garth Snow & a 2nd round pick for Peter Budaj. I signed Eric Chartrand as a 3rd-line winger and signed the French center with like 95 potential (his name just slipped my mind). Budaj is alright, but not anything great. I use him as a backup goalie who goes in for DiPietro whenever Rick gives up 3+ goals. I'm good at the game except for goaltending, I can't get the hang of it at all. It happens a lot where I'll be skating down the ice to stop a SOG, and all of the sudden DiPietro becomes my active player without me noticing quick enough, and he'll slide to one side of the net and leave a wide-open goal. It's a bitch.

Buddhist, you're holding the switch player button for too long.
Also, the best part of the game is drafting/developing players.
Bob Darby for mvp.
Also, Andy Mcdonald and Tony Slamelianen are unstoppable in the game. Their small frames combined with the maxed out speed and accel mean they can blow by pretty much everyone.
Savard's pretty deadly, too.
Frank Kaberle's gotta be the best all-around defenseman. Above average speed and a good checking ability mix well with his decent shooting.

I have NHL 07 (ps2) and NHL 2K7 (ps2). I know that for 2K7 you can update online. I'll try to update it when i get a bigger memory card.
Ok, so my PS2 froze NHL 07 for the fifth time, and so I had to rebuild my franchise AGAIN, with MORE different players. Lame-ass.

The man I felt most sorry for last night was Rick DiPietro. A Club-record 56 saves and he's still tagged with the Overtime Loss to the Rangers. I watched the first period over breakfast this morning and he was doing pretty well. Shame that his team let the Rangers take that many shots, really.
This is about one the the dirtiest hits I've seen in a while. Personally, I think he should be suspended for more than three games. Then again, you have to admit that Kaberle was following his pass and not paying attention.
Some nice play by the Avs last night. I thought that Chris Drury might have made us pay, as Buffalo seem to have been one of the better teams since the lockout. 3-2 and more fantasy points for me :D

AND, Wolski's starting to get hot again.
Also, Paul Stastny's about to break teemy selanne's rookie point streak record.
I feel bad that Edmonton's been losing these many games. I think they would be able to win more games if they didn't have 10 members injured and didn't trade Ryan Smyth? Which team trades there best player? Well we all know one team who did and that's Edmonton.
