I srsly would.
Even though I have the best all-around offence in the league, I'd be willing to part with a blueliner.
I'm seriously considering an offer jerry sent for Lidstrom, but I'm holding off until both pronger and berard make their respective returns. Pronger's expected to be back tomorrow, and Berard on monday. until I see it though, I'll wait.

Well since the odds of you trading me back Hemsky, Doan, or Arnott are slim to none, I'm targeting Carle, Berard or Gonchar from you, depending on what would be wanted in return.

Yay yesterday Edmonton won again. I was hoping for Ryan Smyth to get a hat trick but it didn't happen oh well. I also got this sweet sig!

Appropriately of course.
Ok, I'll be putting across a slightly more serious offer this morning.
Pronger and Berard are back. Berard should be making his debut tonight.
And Leclaire will be back in a week or two.
So, you see, this means I'll need to dump some players. Now, obviously I've had an extra roster spot that I've been using to waiver draft every day, and pronger will take the place of that. Perhaps I can drop Lupul for Berard, but when Pascal gets back I'll be forced to drop someone. So, if anyone wants one of my defensemen + someone else for an elite forward, I'd very much be willing to listen.

How about you give me Leclaire back, asshole. Well, at least I got three of my players back from IR myself. (And how about that Sharks power play! Hurraah)
Hey. if I'll take Berard and keep him (Jerry traded for Brian when the season started)
I'm certainly not giving pascal to the man you rejected whitney for Prucha.

I'm sort of confused here? What do you guys talk about like you guys say your trading players and stuff? Does this have to do with NHL O7? I'm really lost in this club. Any help?

Basically, we're all in the Newgrounds Fantasy Hockey League 06-07. Hopefully, my team is going to start grinding up the ladder.
I'm not letting any of my plaers go cheaply, either!
SHARKS N DUCKS.
I can only wonder how the second part of the home and home will turn out.
Sharks certainly have a lot to prove, after losing 7-4.
At 2/7/07 01:02 AM, Canas wrote: Dude, join up with us next year. We'll be losing a few select people anyways, and the gap needs to be filled by a couple of dedicated folks.
We're always happy to accept new members in the fantasy league (uless they're goobers)
If you can check in on it on a near daily basis, it would be most prefered.
Which should become a required thing - we need an inactivity policy
Of course, thats still months and months away.
Yeah, but that time will fly by when the summer's here, trust me!

Looks like a good game, I'll watch the highlights later on tonight.
Norrena looked out of shape, as the Jackets lost 3-0 last night (typical of my players, I suppose) But the Avalanche did pull out a 5-4 OT win over Florida, as Karlis Skrastins played in his 486th straight NHL game (tieing the record for NHL defensemen)

New York fans must hate the wings by now!!!
In a matter of a week Wings came back from 0-3 in third period to win 4-3 OT against the Islander of New York and now 2 days ago the came back from 1-3 in third period to win 4-3 in regular time versus the Rangers of New York... if I'd be a New York resident, I'd be piss off!
Go Wings Go!
I truly respect you M. Gretzky but your team is going down tonight around 7h30pm!

I disagree....
Ovechkin > Crosby
Gretzky > Lemieux
But Wayne is the best player that ever has been... I will have to see a 1000 and + goal and 3000 and + points career to reconsider my statement

Blah...
How is that? Gretzky has more pts per game than anyone, Lemieux included. Lemieux was sometimes more impressive in his goal but no one could do the job like Gretzky.
In his prime time Gretzky was the best of all time; Lemieux never had a 200pts+ season... Gretzky had 5 in 6 years! When number speak from them-self...

Just out of interest, how old were you when Gretzky was in his prime? I saw him play and while he may have gotten slight bias from the refs, he was still the better player... just.
Both were great, but even Mario would admit Gretzky was better.

Gretzky holds 62 NHL records. If someone can break one of his, they will be called great. No-one will ever surpass "The Great One", by virtue of his illustrious nickname. Lemieux was only ever Super Mario.

This seems to be all you have been saying for the past few posts of yours. Show us some proof that Mario was better than Wayne.

Mario had a better ppg average until he came back. Because unlike gretzky, he didn't leave when his production started to taper off.
Mario's better.

Gretzky only retired once. Mario retired how many times?
Mario's better.
Like I said, close, but no cigar.
Zetterberg's staying with me, for anyone stupid enough to offer me a trade!
DiPietro ftw!
Mario never had a better ppg than the Great One.
Let's make some calculation...
The best season of Mario was in 88-89 he had 199pts in 76games
199/76= 2.618 ppg
In his best 5 years (86-88-89-91-92) he had 800pts in 366 games
800/366= 2.186
Now the great one... best year was in 85-86 he had 215pts in 80games
215/80 = 2.688 ppg
In his best 5 years (81-82-83-84-85) he had 1036 in 394 games
1036/394= 2.629 (Still a higher ppg average than the BEST of all the Best years Mario had)
Please don't blame Gretzky for being more healthy than Mario; and consider that unlike Gretzky, Mario had a much shorter career witch gives him an edge for the ppg.

How crazy is that!? The Center duo (Datsyuk - Zetterberg) are on Fire!!!

the central chase is going to be exciting right down to the end, i can tell
Nashville and Detroit are going to be 5 points close the rest of the season save a major injury
it just gets me excited
I respect your opinion... but the numbers just speak from them-self...
There is not a single aspect where Lemieux isn't beaten by Gretzky... not a single one.
Gretzky carried the league on his shoulders.
There's a reason why no one will never be #99 again. And as far as I know, anyone could be #66 unless they play for Pittsburgh.
P.S. Think about how much more goals and points Gretzky would have had if he could have spend his entire career with the Oilers.
P.S.2. I know a Mario Nobili (made the NHL), witch play Junior with Mario Lemieux and the kid was amazingly talented, no question about that but he was far too arrogant. Now even with this information, Mario agrees that he can NOT be compare to Wayne.

I'm saying that people who offer me a trade for Zetterberg would have to give up more than they can afford to pry him away from me.

Gretzky took hockey to the places where it wasn't established, L.A for example and made a success of it. He continues to improve hockey in these areas while coaching the Coyotes, while Mario has tried to keep his franchise in Pittsburgh. He's doing a good job, but the job is a lot harder for him, than it seems for Gretzky.
At 2/9/07 12:55 AM, Canas wrote: 160 points in 60 games isn't something Gretzky ever came close to. Never mind the adversity Mario had to overcome. Through all of this, he still boasted a higher PPG average, until his 2005-2006 season dropped him a fraction below.
Gretzky would have done that if he's have had a few years top recover from an NHL career.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLED
Seriously tho.
Ovechkin > Crosby
Lemieux > Gretzky
Had Lemieux not have an health problems and not played 500 less games than Gretzky he would probably be the all-time leader in points.

That's like saying if Roger Clemens or Nolan Ryan made as many starts as Cy Young, that they'd have the major league lead in wins. I know it's baseball, but the stats don't say either Ryan or Clemens is the greatest pitcher, Cy Young is.
In much the same way, Gretzky is the Great one, Mark Messier is number 2 and Lemieux is third in my opinion.

Messier sucked, Gretzky padded his stats for him and so did the Stanley Cup winning Rangers team. After he got traded to the Canucks he was what he is, a slightly above average player.

Since injuries and starts are the same thing. It's stupid to compare Baseball and Hockey.
