To be honest, I'd be more surprised if the Avs got into the playoffs, the way we're playing. If the Coyotes are playing as a team (and I hate to say this) then they deserve to get in the playoffs more than the Avs do

Now with Pronger's return in early febuary and Berard coming back as soon as the 30th, I'll be able to dish off some defensive depth for offensive talent.

And after the all-star break, kipper averages a shutout every 8 games. Got started with that a bit early this year, powering me with a ten-point night.

All-star things started in earnest today, with east winning the youngstars game 9-8. Ryan Getzlaf scored the goal of the game in a losing effort. A remearkable stat for the game:
Malkin is the only player not to figure into any scoring plays. Even the two goalenders got an assist.

During the skills comp, McDonald showed he deserved to be there, winning the fastest skater and putting his shootout attempt behind brodeur.

Should be interesting to watch Sid and Alex wheel and deal tomorrow.
