Owen Nolan finally gets a hat trick since '99 I believe, against the Sharks on Wednesday. Calgary's one point behind the Wild for first.

As the saying goes, most people would type "stupidest person i've ever met", since I haven't met him, and the only extent of me being able to judge his character is what i've SEEN, than he's the stupidest person i've ever seen.
Unless you are foolishly implying I should have wrote "stupidest person i've ever read", which is simply retarded.
Also Jackets are going down tonight

Tluck-Person's Notables
--The Sabres go up 2-0, but the Devils storm back and force a 4th straight shootout against the Sabres. The Sabres finally halted their shootout woes, though, with a shot from Drew Stafford, and a nice deke from Henrik Tallinder, as the Sabres collect the two points and are 1 point out of the 8th and final playoff spot going into Friday's matchup vs. the Bruins.
--The Caps got to a quick start in the 3rd period, peppering the Flyers for three goals. The Flyers rallied in the end, with Randy Jones scoring with 54 seconds to go, however, it was not enough. The Caps won 4-3.
--Patrick Sharp scored the first goal for Chicago, but Edmonton scored 4 unanswered goals to win the game by that score (4-1).
--Colorado beats San Jose by a score of 3-1.

Well, the top one there is undoubtedly Campbell. Redden is up there as well, because there are organisations who don't care about how much they'll have to pay him, even with the salary cap. Liles is good, but nowhere near the best.

Great game, Jose Thoedore was pretty shit hot for us. He almost deserved a shutout, especially for that madness that descended onto the net in the second and resulted in what could only be described as a ruck (Rugby term, these guys know how to play 2 manly sports :P)

A shame they couldn't hold on. They need LeClaire back in the lineup to aide their defenses. Modin back from his hamstring pull should be good news for them as well.
Paul Stastny may be making his return from Appendectomy surgery tonight against the Canucks. finally some good news for the Avs :)

A scary moment for Panthers forward Richard Zednik last night, as his throat was accidentally lacerated by the skate of team mate Olli Jokinnen.
Jokinnen was in a tussle for the puck in the corner with Buffalo Defenseman Brian Campbell, when he lost his balance and his right leg flew out from underneath him, probably to attempt to keep his balance. The flailing skate accidentally caught Zednik on the right side of his neck and he left a lengthy trail of blood off from the corner to the bench, where Buffalo and Florida trainers and medical staff rushed to his aide.
Zednik is in a stable condition and resting in a Buffalo Hospital, following emergency surgery to close the laceration in his neck.
Buffalo Won the game 5-3. I can't believe that they carried on with the game

So apparently, Zednik was [this] close to being Malarchuk Redux, as Olli Jokinen's skate juuuust missed his jugular.
Imagine how bad that could have been, had the jugular been sliced...*shudder* It's a damn good thing he's made it out okay, regardless of whether or not he's back in hockey this season or at any point.
"In this world // We walk on the roof of hell, // Gazing at flowers." -- Issa
People keep saying that it's amazing that Zednik was able to get up and just skate to the bench. They say had he not done that, he probably would have died, or at least been a lot closer to it.
