Ehem... Let's get the negative stuff out the way (which is just ranting to be honest). Furries. You chose furries, probably knowing the NG community of 13 year olds would eat it up regardless. Also, you the rpg style which added to the reason why it shot to No 1. Ha, well done for exploiting that.
Animation was... Flawless really. I was quite gobsmacked that this is your first submission. Needs new background music but other than that, just wow.

Hey ur flash is damn awsome and to be your first flash it must have been taken ya ages to complete! I am sure that you must haved done loads of demos and practice before starting this. Some just start making flashes straight away and others practice until perfection until they post any flash, I think that I know what kind of flash autor u are :)
That was awsome and If I could know, how long did it take you? withought counting the storylike and that, just the animation and artwork.
Hey I would be glad to watch more of your stuff, I had to watch it again to apreciate your nice work. Take a small break and start of inspirated for your next work! :D

great stuff man, you might want to improve the sounds ( make them a tad less annoying, you know :P) and get some better jokes for next time, i mean, there are tons of easy rpg-cliche stuff to be said, which you missed.

Definetly series-worthy!
There's not doubt about its merit as a series in my mind. It's truely one of the best-looking Flash Movies I have seen in a long time and, my gosh-- it has Furries in it too? It's a win on practically every conceivable level. NewGrounds is sure getting alot of talented Flash Artists lately.
