For a flash film it's obviously well made, but I'm not sure about the content. Ethics of recreating something like this aside, I'm not convinced all that effort couldn't have been put into something more original, a story most of us haven't heard the details of a hundred times over. Or maybe your dependent on that knowledge? If I didn't already know what happened to that girl who said she believed in god, the ending would be pretty flat. It's just been convered so much...
I hate to say it, but the guy below that compared this to schindler's list made me laugh. This is a well done movie, but I think the constant exposure to stick fights and humorless clock movies has kind of brought the bar down.
Strangely enough, the part I liked the best was at the beginning, before the school. It seemed to even have a different visual language and could've been fleshed out some more since it's the only part where you really had to write some characterization.
Also, everyone who keeps saying this should be a longer project, go rent "Elephant", it's about the same in it's non-explanitory attitude.
