For a flash film it's obviously well made, but I'm not sure about the content. Ethics of recreating something like this aside, I'm not convinced all that effort couldn't have been put into something more original, a story most of us haven't heard the details of a hundred times over. Or maybe your dependent on that knowledge? If I didn't already know what happened to that girl who said she believed in god, the ending would be pretty flat. It's just been convered so much...

I hate to say it, but the guy below that compared this to schindler's list made me laugh. This is a well done movie, but I think the constant exposure to stick fights and humorless clock movies has kind of brought the bar down.

Strangely enough, the part I liked the best was at the beginning, before the school. It seemed to even have a different visual language and could've been fleshed out some more since it's the only part where you really had to write some characterization.

Also, everyone who keeps saying this should be a longer project, go rent "Elephant", it's about the same in it's non-explanitory attitude.

If you're thinking of watching then go ahead, it's a very good cartoon and offers alot of entertainment, looks very professional and has a great overall story (seeing that it's based on true events), have a good time watching :)

Well, these kinds of movies are difficult to pull off in this medium. I didn't like this for many reasons. I don't quite know what the intentions were with this cartoon. Were you glorifying them or trying to make us feel sorry for them? Were you trying to provide information about the event? The movie seemed to just end without any kind of point or purpose. I mean, I know in the artist's comments, the purpose is stated, but it's not shown in the movie which is what the audience bases their opinion on. As far as feeling sorry for them, by the time you are in high school, you should know that killing people is wrong. They can't blame it on parents or teachers or whatever. As far as glorifying them, I don't think that was your intent, but it comes off that way, especially at the end when they ask the girl why she believes in God. I think everyone can agree that she gives the dumbest answer you can think of, which makes the killers seem like they have a firmer grasp on life. But, anyway, I think the quality of it is above average, but the story is lacking any ultimate revelation or conclusion. I do have to say, I got an eerie feeling when I saw the Taxi Driver poster, as I have the same one on my wall right here.

Wow. This is very disturbing. I have heard of situations like these. Kids are always forced to kill when they get bullied around.

Deep...

This is a rare type of flash, probably one of the first I've ever seen. To take an event such as that and actually portray it, really shows people how just two people, or even one lone person, can do such things as that without even thinking twice. It was a good flash, I hope to see more from you, but hopefully not on such a sad or depressing topic
