Best tutorial I have ever seen
The sound effects are a very nice touch!
This is also the first tutorial I have ever learned anything from.
For quality settings, the property (not a function!) is _quality,
and can be set to "LOW", "MEDIUM", "HIGH", and "BEST".
For example: _root._quality = "LOW";
and just put that in a on(release) or whatever for a button and tadaa!!

I spent like 2 hours before submitting this just trying to find a tutorial on making quality buttons. I finally decided I could add them later, and I've already gotten 2 responses pertaining to that particular question. I'll do a new version sometime soon... I need to get away from flash for a while...

Now that I'm done drooling... I think I can properly review this. Anyway. This was just fantastic. I've never seen ANY animator get so in-depth with any of their tutorials. I've just seen the basic "yeah do this, this this and this and you got this cool movie." Then I was like... What the hell? But with yours, I totally understand what to do and how to do it. I just hope that with all this new-found-skill that I can actually submit something good. Haha. Anyway, keep it up.

ever thought about making a tutorial with voice acting,
you know instead of writing it all down actually saying it (or having someone els say it)
cause that will be the ultimate tutorial MARK MY WORDS!
the original flash tutorial it self is über boring
yours is the only flash tutrial (so far) i have been able to keep my attention to for a long period of time xD
i have always wanted to make my own flash and now i will start doing it : )
