THESE PEOPLE DESERVE NOBEL PRIZES!
What should I say in my acceptance speech?
I'd like to thank all the little people...
yes the little people in my head that keep telling me to do things...
A very useful Tool!
Finally something useful for all who suck at using flash, including me. I'm glad someone thought about us who have great imagination but left in the dust with lack of flash stills. If I can get flash myself this tutorial will be very very useful for me.
That's something I want to prevent - good artists from becoming intimidated by flash for lack of knowledge. If I can help just one potentially great flash artist I'll be happy.
Thanks.
Thanks for teaching me that stuff. I remember one time when someone I know was making flash, he said that he was going to use a mask for this one part for the scene, and I asked "Whats a mask?"
lol, thanks anyway.
I had never seen masking explained until I noticed it in the menu. That film reel really was my first attempt (I was trying to make a logo for ICF). And it took me hours to figure out.
Thing is it's so useful (I used masking a lot in this) that i don't understand why it's never explained.
really good
wow really really good shows a lot of things that i havent seen in other tutorials very well done i will continually refer to this
Cool. I tried to stay away from the normal stuff. I could easily do a walk cycle or explosion tutorial, but I wanted to show some things I had to figure out on my own. Also there's a lot of low-tech techniques you can use in flash that look lightyears beyond their simplicity - effects I haven't seen done a whole lot. That's the stuff I wanted to display.
yep
so i was like, lookin around trying to un-noob myself, when i stumbled across this. it was mad ill... i didnt learn anything, but thats my own fault, lol. good work dude, btw, IM WORKING MY ASS OFF ON THE PEICE I NEED DONE FOR TOMMOROW! (friday) yeah... its gunna blow hardcore.
