Yes. A very helpful tutorial right when I need it. I was about to give up on backgrounds because depth issues with freehand. Now this has given my background some life. 10/10

Well I'm glad I could help. Backgrounds is what I learned first. I needed to get them down before doing full productions because the productions I have planned are fully cinematic.

Awesome tutorial on how to do several thing in designing a flash movie. I have recently been reviewing different tutorials on flash and so far this is the most visually indepth one I have came across, it's always good to actually see what's happening rather than just reading about it. Very nice work, and if my flash turns out half that well I would definitely have to give you credit for this tutorial. Great stuff.

That was pretty sweet.
There is just one problem however, all this was useless to me as i cannot draw for toffee :P. If i could draw im sure this would be hella useful.
However the masking thing was pretty cool, i may try that out sometime.
However, these things take so much time, and seenas i spend basically all my time studying/working on my MMORPG, i have little time to work on my flash skills, although i am getting better!
Anyway, good job on this, great tutorial :D. Next time maybe you could write one on telling us how to draw and optimize shadowing, and maybe one on actionscript? :).

hmm... shadowing is a possibility. however I know jack crap about action script. We'll see what happens though.

hhahah, jk... kinda neways.... I understood most of it since i too have flash but... u kinda lost me in the last part where u drew lines and made everything move... i mean, yea that was hella cool but i barely understood it... all i know is that u make 3 frames and a box??? convert to mc and place that script... is that right?? im still kinda shaky on that
