Reviews for ""crucify-me! Jesus""

Not the best approach. Author please read comment.

I know that your goal is to inspire people to take a look at your opinion of anti-religion, I know because I've been to your site, but to do so in such an extreme (if not an extreme to you, it is still extreme to others) is indirectly being hypocritical and thusly proving yourself wrong. To accuse the religious culture (especially christians by the looks of it) of pressing its beliefs onto infants who can't decide for themselves anyway, is a totally reasonable accusation. But to present your idea in a violent way that seems to reject the idea of this religious culture, would be the very thing you have come to oppose; this might take awhile to explain. If you look at many teens today, and occasionaly others, you will see that most follow a trend or unique group or culture. There are the stereotype cheerleaders who dress the same and shop all the time together or whatever, but the point is that they change from whatever they were before and follow what might make them happier (sub-conciensly all people want to feel better, it is human nature). Surprisingly enough this can also be said about punk or gothic people. Mostly all of them follow the trend because they either directly or sub-conciensly think it is a better way of life (a.k.a. feeling "better" about the choices they make). Some will disagree but ultimately any person you find holds truth to this, regardless of class (they could have instead made minor choices here and their like habits, instead of punk or popular appearence) But going back to the topic of that you are hypocritical, you can easily compare your extreme flash to punk or goth or cheerleader groups; thus proving that you are drawing those who merely want to improve their life (in the majority of people, others only come to oppose or express ethical views relating to your topic of anti-religion), which is the same concept behind the essence of why infants accept religion, it is human nature. You may not agree or you might just say that this was just a flash that is not meant to show your technique for influencing those who are not anti-religious, but my main point is that what your doing should be blammed, but your site (especially forums) is perfectly fine; infact, I encourage your sites forums. Your forums are, in a way, a form of debate (which can be a form of education). Showing people the other side of an issue is always a good thing, it teaches us to reason with other choices (such as minorities). It is great that their are sites that have such an oppurtunity of debating ideas, but you really should consider removing extreme examples of protest to the other people, because that is just going to perpetuate the cycle of ignorance and grouping. Most people are sadly drawn more to extreme examples of things (this is only wrong in controversial issues, otherwise it is used to grab a viewer's attention like in an amusemant park). There is no welcome from me to the violent expression of ideas in the world of controversy.

Funny Reviews!

The reviews of this game were a lot more entertaining than the game, I suggest reading them all! As for the game, who cares if it's Jesus or Hitler or Mother Teresa? It's just a game. I enjoyed the liberal interpretations of scripture, they were enlightening. The artwork could be a little more refined - I have nothing against cartoony but Jesus could have been a little more...crucifiable.

I also find hilarious the threats and abusive language from the Christian camp. Way to love the sinner but hate the sin, hypocrites!

Not Christian at all but...wow this is bad

More interactivity would have been nice.

It's kind of like those movies (or games, BMX XXX comes to mind) that are made just for the sake of being controversial without any real good work put into them. There could have been choices on what to do, rather than just 'click, screaming, stabbing right hand bible quotes, next, click screaming, stabbing left hand, random bible quote, next, etc' it's uninteresting and the extent of it is about four clicks than then you're done. I would've liked to see just general more effort put into it if you're going to poke fun at anything.

This just really screamed to me 'I did this just to see how many people would get mad'
It seems quality took a back seat to shocking as many people as possible...

Meh. Crap.

Well, I don't really care about being offended, but there was so much more you could have done. What about Jesus being flogged? and having the crown of thorns put on his head? And the trip up Calvary Hill?

This is so dull.

meh..

im catholic and it was fun but extremely short and repetitive..bleh
