Here it is:
Explosion
Comments on this would be GREATLY appreciated, aswell as tips on how to improve.
I see 2 main problems, the rest is really all in practice.
1: Smoke appears after the boom. So right after the boom, you want smoke to go out, and smoke goes upwards and twirls in itself as it fades away into smaller pieces. Also, smoke is a bit thicker than that in the beggining.
2: Dont use little lines coming out of the explosion to give it force, just build the force in the explosion itself. (something like sitting on a balloon) Make the item exploding expand like a balloon being sat on and then let the explosion fly out. Try practicing having pieces of what is blowing up fly around and be sure to get the smoke to rise upwards and randomly, not just to every direction.
The gradient is cool, but also wont give your explosion the force you want. It will though, make it look pretty when you're done with the actual animation.
