Man, hope these links don't break.
I wonder how many contributions to this big topic that makes.. lol maybe 2?
Oh yeh, orb, that was awesome. You know.. the water orb thing. The liquid brick was cool, but, although more realistic than most of what I see, the liquid it was made out of was.. interesting to type the least.
The F&I,C kinda looks like jolly ranchers.

Nice graphics here, it isnt supposed to do anything yet though? Looks cool though nice and clean looking

They didnt :)

I said Generically Shaded, as in, it looks like you just followed the basic rules of where the shading should go and didnt really focus on where the light was coming from or why there was a shadow. And I didnt say your first, I said when you're first beggining. And even though you drew on paper you should still go over it in a line art program before you get on with the coloring.

Thanks. That actionscript is funny and messy. ;D. It's rotation, duplication, and animation.

See the above white text. Unless this text turns out grey... then refer to 2 lines above. Or will it be 3?

Not supposed to do anything, yet, or probably at all. Sure, someone can have it and create something, I just like to fool around with filters when I get bored.
Lol, can't believe I got feedback really. Fire and Ice are the only things I've been able to pull off, besides smoke and stuff, but that's easy. Any ideas? I'm up for a try. Lol, Maybe i'll give demi a shot next. God I'm rambling on again.
Man, hope these links don't break. They didnt :)
Lol, cool, are you sure? Double check. I hate making mistakes in posts that I can't edit...
:can't edit
I was shooting for a mistake in the above line, hope it comes out wrong.

You did :P
I would forever love you if you made me a actionscript thing where its like a heat sensor and if you hold down the click it glows white hot after a while. But you can also go across the screen like the others with just a red glow that fades out. That woukd indeed be rad.

Well, I'm sure I could do it, if I understood you better. To be like the other things, it'd still expand and disppate, meaning that it'd go red hot too fast, or, it'd be really weird. So, I'd have to do it with a solid that doesn't move. I'll give it a shot with that.
Awesome stuff KinZo, they looked really cool, though I dunno really what the last one was about.
And yeah, thanks. I meant the brick to be a really viscous liquid... since his name wasn't WaterBrick, it was LiquidBrick, and if a liquid were to make up a brick it would probably be pretty thick and viscous.

It looks like McDonalds milkshake.

Yeah! And I draw everything by mouse too and my art is 10 times better than Luis'... right??

More than 15 minutes :P
Especially with my old computer.
My new one that I'm gonna build is shipping to my house (i'm still at college.. I go home like tomorrow night for winter break), but unfortunately I'll be at home, so my parents will have authority over me and say I have to finish these drawings for drawing class before I can build it. Even though the parts will be sitting there in their boxes teasing me.
The actual making of it probably takes somewhere around 30 mins, and then all the processing times and calculations for the simulation take about an hour.
Just guesses though.

I think you should just lose the whole outer outline altogether and keep it simple with the small bar in the middle.

Nah it's cool don't worry about it. But, if I ever make anything a little ambitious with film, i'll keep you in mind to do some nice 3d effects. I got the idea from the Liquid Bricj image and imagining that falling from the sky.
Nice stuff there also Kinzo.
as sad as it sounds i think this thread is nearly dead

That's pretty good, but the perspective feels kinda off. The arms should be getting thicker as they get closer. Y'know.
God I suck at explaining stuff :)
Anyway, I just made it this little thing and I don't feel like making an entire thread or something in the art forum just for this, so I'll just post it here.
Comments appreciated :)

Nice, i disagree. It would deserve its own thread compared with some of the crap thats posted :P

Mmmk then.
I'm actually at home now in Maryland.... and I haven't built my new computer yet so I don't have access to any graphics programs until my liquid cooling kit (only part yet to arrive) arrives anyways.
But yeah hit me up. I love making effects, it's my favorite part of the 3D process (as opposed to modeling, animating, rigging, shading, lighting, texturing, rendering, etc)

Wow, that looks really nice. The whole effect and design fits together perfectly. Nice.
Here is a cover for a . . . thing . . . that I am doing. Heh, heh - I so dislike Harry Potter.

Wow, I think that animation, and just thinking of some cool action scenes, and everything in it, that would be frontpage, and daily, and possibly weekly, keep going strong.
Animation
