Nice fuzz, the animation is smooth, the graphics and colour are great, blend together well. Its really unique looking. I dont have a clue what your going to do with it, Im on the edge of my seat. Literally.

Need some 'pinions on my new profile pic. I usually don't use the brush tool, but I used it to make this.

I don´t really like that style but that´s just me so don´t bother that.
I think it will look better if you add more shadow to the cheek/face.

I'm not exactly sure where on the face though.

On the cheek-bone.
Maybe add a little more detail.

Best thing to do there is to just go crazy on it and try it all out. If you have fireworks/PS then use the dodge burn and have a play around. Think about a really harsh light source and then work from that. Even if it's bollocks it's just a practice.

Well, I don't have fireworks. I do have photoshop but I'm not good with it.
Smudge tool will get you from this.

To this. :D
I think you have created an awesome character there.
It rocks!
Anywayz
here is the character from the game I´m working on.
After the game is finished I´m gonna start on making movies with soldier like this:

Hah, pretty cool. I would personally make his legs into legs rather than playdo-legs if you get what I mean. I don't like the idea of a walk cycle out of those legs other than it being simply tweened, but with sharper legs it would be pretty cool.
MisterDog, why do you draw dogs? I never got that. I'm not a fan of them because I don't like that sort of thing in general, anime, stood on a hill edge with a sword, especially with dogs :). They always look so small and feeble too why don't you draw a big muscley one.

Hey that´s actually a pretty good idea :)
I´ll try it out and see how it looks.
Tnx dude :)

Btw, to keep that same heavy black outline around the edge, why not just use a heavy, small, black glow? (Flash 8). Then you can work on the arms and legs stiffened out without losing that kinda style.

I have flash 5 so I just trace him and then scale him smaller inside the tween.
After that I go back into the basic timeline and scale him back to big and here we go:
The same character but with bigger outlines :)
mamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Oehhhoeheoeeeeeeeeeeeee...
I'm looking for some comments on this. Whenever I watch it, it really annoys me how long it takes for the left arm and leg to come forward.

It's cool mogs but you really have to stop animating with both left limbs moving in the same direction and both right limbs moving in the same direction. It makes it really hard to comment on your work when its animated in a way NO-ONE moves like. You know that people move their right arm forward when their right leg goes back so start doing it, damn it!
They both look very unnatural; However, they are animated nicely. Try to incorporate balance and weight and timing into consideration when making a walk cycle. This character looks as if he is being pulled foward rather than relying on his feet to support his weight and walking on his own.

That looks so cool, but so wierd. Its like a tech-deck or whatever those little people are.

Hah, I know. Legs are in a movie clip, so it can be sorted. I know it's not the right way but it feels right when animating like that. Otherwise they end up twisting and turning.
American-Chinker
Yeah, I agree. That ones sort of at a stage of well, it's done, but do I want it. I think i'll scrap it and start a-fresh. I'll post up next walk/run cycle I do and see if it's better in those specific way before I go on and finish it.

i reckon his left arm takes too long. but othe than that its a-ok :)
Here's something else from the Hannukkah game of Mr Muffins. This doesn't look to impressive, but at size, and scale in place it'll look sweet.
I'm having quite good fun drawing these simpleish backgrounds, kinda like a return to norm - lying on the floor, listening to Man who sold the World and other various tracks. I best go have breakfast now.
