Just to clear a matter up, does the first post in this thread apply? The part where it says that this isn't really a club so people can pretty much come and go as they please. Just curious if that has changed or not as I have only read the last few pages.

pretty much there isnt many rules... just a guiding sort of showing what the clubs about (i cant remember the first post, meh) pretty much whoever posts a sig is a member, but its not really a membership club, you just come in here, ditch the sigs you made so people can see em, and hopefully give you some pointers or feedback on them, and thats it... also its apparently a bit of a help for begginers topic...

Looks good... however once you get into lighting channels too, mixed with layer filters you can really make things jump out at you

No I live in New Zealand and we don't have fraternity's here. It's there because it was the coolest looking Y I could find in my fonts. And that saying is from the Ruff Ryders that say "In the R we trust"

Yo Rextex I've been wonderin something. How did you get the lightning in your sig that writes your name? Because I found how to do the type you have in your background but that's just random and after many hours, or minutes, of attempting to do so I'm still at a loss for the method.

Well, the lightning and the name are two different layers. First you have to make the text, then you gotta put the lightning bolt on top of it. Which one can't you do?

well for once, i finally went outside the web banner boundaries today at school, and made a sweet pic dedicated to hellboy, i wish i had it here so i could post it, i also made my trippy background... i think im starting to get the hang of photoshop outside the boundaries of a web banner.....

also, anyone know any good fonts from all the genres of fonts... i need to download some more....

oh, and by the way... can people give me some feedback on what they've seen of the sigs ive created.... i really need some critisism....

Well, I spent all day looking for pictures of Havoc, I managed to find 3 on the whole of the internet. I even used my file sharing software (honestly mister RIA man, I only use it to get pictures), and found even less. It seems like we need to educate the world my friend.

Sitting in a little cardboard box in England in my grandfathers garage is a plethora of Havoc pictures.... bollocks.

If you can find some pics I'd appreciate you sending them, unless you'd like a rather groovy witchblade one like I made earlier...

thanks, i liked the idea of using a character from the comic, and the character from the movie in the one pic... and yeah, the background was just a fluke.....

I'm having some problems getting my latest sig down to a reasonable size. It is currently standing at 77k with an 8 frame animation in it, the background is pretty intense so that could be hal of the problem.. I'm using flash and changing the colour count does miniscule difference so I'm now at a loss.

I'm not too sure about this, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that the flash save as gif command still uses a 256 colour palette...

I use image ready for saving animations, you can usually drop a 160k file down to about 35k in that
