Ok, I couldn't find any animated Hulks anywhere... but this is what I came up with... your thoughts oh great one?

I like what you've done with it. Naturally the green stands out of the background, so that's a plus. I think the pic on the right is a little out of place. It doesn't really have a purpose. The difference instyles is also distracting. I think the larger more comical hulk works fine. I like the angle you've given it. It makes it more interesting. You're right about the background. i can see a very un anti-aliased edge around it. If you have photoshop, make sure you have the anti-aliased box checked when making a selection. I wouldn't mind seeing the hulk pic with a different background. The font choice is simple but good. HULK should be a thick strong font. It matches the character well. Try looking into the image and text effects in the photoshop actions. They help sometimes. but like filters and effects, don't abuse them.

I'm very curious about why you've started this thread. Are you training to one day apply for the SSM, or is this out ot spite? I hope it isn't the later. although I did see some anti War_Machine comments in the early pages. I hope there hasn't been anything between the SSM and your selves. As long as we don't trash each other's work we'll be fine. Just keep having fun I guess. And if you do have a moment help vote in the photoshop challenge I took part in. Thank You.

thanks for the encouragement, too bad ancient armour left.... anyone who is willing to try can be good at this, i just like it because it makes me feel creative, even though mostly i just alter other peoples pictures and stuff, but its just a good outlet

well..u can either get a graphical/design program such as photoshop (prob the best) fireworks, etc and do ur own (you hav to buy these of course)

The green hulk eye was a jpeg which I cut down, then modified it to the "normal" face, then adjusted the opacity of the green one over it to make the fade. The Hulk on the right I ripped from a comic. Then reduced the whole lot to a 128 colour gif, thats as far as I could go withour reducing the quality to a poor state, as you can see the normal face on the bridge of the nose has suffered already.

Hey SohoNinja, let's see what you can do to replace my current sig! I'm starting to run out of ideas for myself. That and I could go for another animated one. Although I'm not sure what you would use... I'm willing to be a guinea pig. I'll give you general categories... animals (sharks, lizards), radioactive stuff (godzilla was one I got from SSM, I also have several rotating radioactive symbols and animated explosions)... but just be creative.

Now that I think of it, we should create our own little site that way we can each have a page of our sigs and we can have a page to share our gifs/pics... thoughts everybody?

Oh, and SohoNinja.... I want the tone of the sig to be dark and mysterious.

I think the site idea is quite good, sort of a showcase so people can see our talents. I have some web space at bresnan.net that could be used if this gets off the ground.

Well... I wouldn't necessarily say I have any talent... but the rest of you seem to have a good bit of it! I'll try to help this club out even when I can no longer make sigs... because my try-out versions run out in about two weeks.

If possible I'd like to have a sig w/ just complete random things on it, as long as its kinda funny and looks decent, have fun w/ it!
