Just found the 100th person with over 300 reviews, and 341 people with over 100 total. That's like 53 new people in the last two days, but none of them have moved me down at all :-)

It would be nice if they did respond, though I think more thoughful or helpful reviews garner responses, I don't think its something they almost owe the reviewer. In general, when I watch a good movie or feel like I could say something helpful, I owe it to the creator to leave a review for them in returne for them spening countless hours working on flash movies for me to watch.

I'm perfectly happy with my %age, but I know that if I started reviewing right and left like you and jon and demon, my %age would start to drop rapidly. That was a nice surprise, I usually either get a response right away within a day or so, or not at all. Anyone else experienced much 1 week+ review to response lags?

Well here is how i rate things

1-3 ok || 4-7 Nice work || 8-10 I loved it

I look for detail, like in backrounds, and storyline, the interactive style, character design, new and unique stuff, and so on, if i see no play/replay aswell as no preloader the score will drop abit, sticky topic movies are kinda so-so with me, and hate movies well kinda iffy on that one aswell, and then there is the author if i know there work i would give 10's infact illwillpress and violet_aim i would give 10's, I wouldnt give all 0's but then i wouldnt give all 10's, either, and new artists i try and help out as much as i can on those movies,
clock movies hmmmm lets just say i dont like mass voting to win awards, but then again it depends on the movie, well that is some small info on reviewing i guess its about the artwork...

You're welcome :) I go back now and again to write a response to reviews where nothing struck me on the first go around. Reading old reviews are a nice pick me up at times as long as you skip over the bad ones quickly.

(BTW, my current ratio is 130:31 if you were still interested in obtaining the comparative data in an easy manner.)

I do not want to make it seem like I am telling anyone how to review, but think it is wrong to give 10's down the line, just because it is someone you know. Um... I'm not sure if you were reading him right, but he said "if I know the author's WORK" not if he knows the author personally.

In other words, if illwillpress submits another Neurotically Yours flash, he knows the author so he pretty much gives a 10 because he's used to that author making high quality stuff.

I don't necessarily have a problem with that practice except that occasionally a reliable author puts out a subpar flash, and occasionally a crappy author puts out an excellent flash, so... it's not fair to completely jump to conclusions based on author or batting avg. or previous flashes alone.

Anyway, personally I love all 7 Beebo flashes, but even I, a rabid fan of them, didn't give them all 10s in my reviews of them. I believe I only gave 10 to 3 of them, the others got 7s 8s and 9s, depending on how much I liked them in relation to the others.

The gaps are quite large, and there won't be too much movement there. Lower down the list there's like lots of people within a couple of dozen reviews, so it's easy to pick up places. Look at nekomon, he had ten people come into the list as new finds ahead of him but still gained 10 spots.

Heh well i dont just give 10's to anyone but the film should interest and entertain me, and the art and so on, maybe certain movies will get a 10 though, cause im sure some of you know that illwillpress has many anti -will so well im just one who likes the work and give what i think it should have... ohwell just me i guess...
