I imagine I'll update the thing weekly - there's not that many huge changes to warrant updating it more frequently. And I'll just be posting the top 100 or top 50 - I only posted everyone I had just to satisfy anyone's curiousity. I'll keep track of people outside the top 100 but just not show them on the list very often, same way that D0gma and Newgrundling track more people than are shown in their respective lists.

Maybe 500 or so, but not thousands. The number of users with greater than 100 reviews may be significantly more than the 166 or so jon has listed, but it's not 10x more, I'd wager.

Oh, BTW, jon... are you only going by what it says in profiles or by actual review count (and how do you find that out exactly? If you go into someone's reviews, it just says how many pages, not how many reviews, and sometimes the numbers aren't right... as it used to be with postcounts in profiles vs. postcounts in the "search for posts by:" search results before they started weeding out the differences.

For example, myself:

101 in my profile
99 in actuality
credits me with pages 1-11 in my reviews list, but if you go to page 11, it says I don't have enough reviews yet. And if you go to page 10, there are 9 reviews there. Hence the 99 (but I don't bother to count the reviews listed, I go by my grounds gold window's report).

Unfortunately, no one can see any one else's grounds gold window and get the true review count and the responses immediately. You'd have to go into people's reviews and then find the last page and count the amount there and see if it checks out with the profile count.

I suspect the reason I have 99 reviews but am credited with 101 reviews, is that two reviews were deleted along with stolen flash, but the profile count never went down.

Anyway, if you ARE just going by profile count, put me on your watch list. I don't review very often, but it looks like getting to 200 gets you pretty high... maybe with that goal in mind I might review more often. #;-}>

I know I've wondered who was lurking just off the top 10 reviewers that the portal stats show... Heretik, for instance, I knew had a lot of reviews, but I didn't know he was THAT close to being on the top 10. Etc. etc.

If this was in general, it'd be bombarded with 10 times as many people saying it was a stupid list, anyway. Fuck that.

I'll do like Newgrundling does with his voting power list, and check those that are in contention for the list each update, and everyone every few updates. Hell, did you see the size of D0GMA's complete list when he last posted it? I bet I've got at least a couple of PC's and high ranking PL's that he's missed...

Well, my count is at 600 even, and I have ten reviews on page 60, so I've no discrepancy despite the fact I must have had at least 20 reviews removed recently as the flash was stolen.

Yeah, I know.

I guess you'll probably find at least as many people as NGling did when filling in gaps in the list, but it depends on how much work you want to do to find them. I assume you've checked everyone on NGling's list to see if their reviews are over 100? Check everyone on the aforementioned super-long complete list of Elite Guards and also of Police Captains and Lieutenants, too. Never know how many will have over 100 reviews, but they're much more likely to than safety patrolmen and citizens...

Ah, okay... good, good. Just hope not many people have large discrepancies. My difference of 2 isn't too bad, but anything around 10 or more would not be too fun for the people who should be ahead of the person but aren't cause of the profile screw-up.

groovy. It would probably take less time (well, not actual time spent, but the date would arrive sooner, let's say) to get onto the top 50 reviewers list than into the top 50 voting power. I'm at 72 on that one right now, but the climbing is so tough over there. Not that 300 reviews could happen overnight (and I average 10 reviews per month, I think... heh), but I COULD turn on the review machine fulltime, methinks. #;-}>

No, you shall never get me to post. Actually, this is a great idea. And to the person who said what does it matter how many reviews you write? It shows that if someone thinks highly of an animation, and they are in the top 10 spot, cough, cough, they might know a little about what they are talking about. I say keep the list at no more than 100, or at least no less than 500 reviews (which is not a lot to begin with) I did not really start reviewing "hardcore" until the beginning of the year, it does not take much time to gain say, 100 reviews per week, unless you work and go to school, etc.
