Yeah, and when I get two replies for an increase of five reviews, it's enough to push me over that mystical 7% mark (685/48)! Doubt I'll ever reach the ten percent mark, but it's feasible as my review count is still (relatively) low enough that targeted reviewing can increase it. Not that I'm going to try that though, as with demon and the promaster both going at a ridiculous rate faster than me, and already ahead of me, I think to try to get a top ten berth I've got to target Dude4u who seems stationary. However, the current 9 and 10 are still active and have got a 600+ head start on me for that one :-(
If your priority is simply to get onto the top 10 and stay there, and not necessarily to try to climb to #1 like demon is attempting to do, then once you get to #10, you could then attempt to boost responses by reviewing recent movies that have authors who tend to respond, or whatever. Sure you can make 10%, eventually!
as predicted, I have fallen from 30% almost immediately due to the 4 reviews of the 4 John's Arm movies I made a few hours ago. ALAS!!!!
