Amen, I don't know but hes constant whining about this sig is really making me not want to make it maybe one of the nicer sig makers will be kind enough to make his sig but i got better things to do like sleep.

To answer a couple of basic questions, I've already made several sigs for NG members. Not all of them are still in use, however. And about being a mod, who gives a fuck? As with any other thread, you could just register a complaint against spammers with any mod. And I won't be the most active member, but I'll be around. I've done sigs for many people here on NG, and yeah, I did biteme's sig way back before I was a mod. I've done sigs for Ted_Easton, Jonas(not the current one), DBF, JudgeMeHarshX, FUNKbrs, Bakshi, BWS, Nirvana13666(not the current one)... those are just a few from the top of my head. I've also done countless sigs for myself. My favorite is still the infamous ban-stick. I'll dig that one up in case anyone hasn't seen it.
Why do I feel like I'm at a job interview? I'd dig up all the sigs I've done, but to be honest, they're all over my hard drive, and I don't feel like looking for them.

In the past, I have done things and said things aimed to greater improve my association with you all. However, It became evident that these things were put off the wrong way, which was not my intention. My efforts were not meant to annoy or infuriate anyone here. In fact, everything I have said and done came from a core of my best intentions--an intention to join you in your efforts to help our fellow NG users. For all the trouble I have caused, I am repentant. I apologize to everyone of the SSM, even those who don't know me. My only wish is that I could join you in SSM, as I really do want to.
Also, I stress my sincerest apologies to War_Machine, Z, and lawless1. I regret that I even brought such things upon you. The next time anyone, and I mean ANYONE hears me mention that I'm gonna open up some space on my hard drive, please make an emergency call (collect if needed) to lawless1, and tell her to use the big stick. Maybe than I won't spend the day rebuilding the programs I partially deleted. It sucks when you have to reinstall a program before you can uninstall it because you deleted the uninstall logs. Oh well, after approximately 30 hours, I think I'm back to normal. Of course I'm using the SAME disc burner that started this whole mess to begin with, dammit.

Okie Dokie, gather around kids. Here's what we've come up with.
New Member Guidelines
1. New members will be considered on a first come, first "served" basis.
2. There will be a maximum of two new members trying out at one time.
3. The try out period will last for 15 days. During this time, the trial members are encouraged to take requests, and post sigs in the thread.
4. At the end of the 15 days, the current members of the SSM will be polled, and the majority decision will be upheld. Once voted in, the user will be added to the SSM link page, and they will be encouraged to make their own SSM tag for their sig.
5. What are we looking for?
A. Talent That's the obvious one, no need to elaborate.
B. Congeniality As stated in the first post, this is a n00b friendly zone. It's ok to flame when its appropriate, but that should be the exception, not the norm.
C. Continuity Ability to work as a member of the team. If you can't get along with the other SSM members, we don't need your help.
D. Confidence Two fold answer with this one.
First, if you're going to ask us for our opinion on every stage of your sigs, we might as well eliminate the middle man, and make it ourselves. Sharing of some "tips and tricks" among the group is encouraged. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we're all more than happy to give each other a hand, but when the questions are non stop, our hospitality will run out pretty quickly.
Second, picture spamming is against the rules. This goes for us as well. While the very nature of this thread is to post pictures on several occasions each day; please do the best job you can the first time, rather than post a sig, then a remake, and another one, etc... Accidents happen, I did it myself last night; but these need to be kept at a minimum. (btw, thx to whoever deleted the wrong sig last night).
There were two members who were not approached for these guidelines, becasue they weren't online today. If Nathan, or Incitic have anything they would like to add, please feel free.
If you have read the first two posts in this thread, and this one, I think you can see that we take this very seriously. Granted, we're not gaining anything by doing this, and I'd say it can be a rather thankless job most of the time. The payoff here is pride in a job well done. That's it. If you're looking for something more than that, do us all a favor, and reconsider.

This is a lot easier than my first plan, where the try out was 18 months, during which I was to receive regualr cash bribes, and get my laundry done three times a week....
